"we had luck having this restaurant right at the block of our airbnb and it was fantastic! every night when we went from him was full (not a huge institution) and the guests looked happy. we had beef carpaccio to start and it was delicious. for our meal we shared the wagyu steak and it was to die for! the staff here were some of the kindest I found in sorrento. highly recommended to eat here!"

"My wife and I had a very poor meal at Fuoro tonight. My wife's chicken was not properly cooked and was still **** inside. She sent it back and, to be fair, they swiftly replaced it with a well cooked piece of beef. It wasn't really what she wanted, but she wasn't prepared to risk another portion of chicken. My sea bass was quite tasty, but small and lukewarm. I needed a microscope to see the helping of mashed potato it was supposedly served on. All the food was served very quickly after we ordered so quickly it must have been pre cooked and sitting waiting for an order. We paid up swiftly and left, and went elsewhere for a dessert because I was still hungry."

"A small, nice and cozy restaurant, just a little away from the tourist crowds. Pleasant atmosphere inside, if the weather is good you can also sit outside. Prices for food are ok (you can also order the “Menù Turistico” in the evening, and it's very worth it), but unfortunately, like everywhere in Venice, you have to be careful with the drinks you'll be charged mercilessly here too if you don't fight back. "Abbiamo scelto questo ristorante per festeggiare il settantesimo compleanno di nostra madre, quindi un pranzo per circa 15 persone. Location classica, su due piani, con numerosi tavoli sia all'interno che all'esterno nella piazza; nonostante la grande presenza di clienti stranieri, il trattamento è tutt'altro che turistico, ma di grande qualità. "Questo ristorante ha reso la nostra vacanza indimenticabile. Il personale era adorabile e cordiale, alcuni parlavano inglese, e i menu ci sono stati tradotti in inglese. Siamo venuti qui diverse volte durante il nostro soggiorno, principalmente per la cena, ma siamo tornati anche per il pranzo nell'ultimo giorno. Le richieste per allergie sono state gestite molto bene. I piatti erano assolutamente deliziosi. La mia amica ha scelto i piatti del giorno e rimase stupita dalla freschezza e bontà dei piatti, provando anche cose che normalmente non avrebbe mai assaggiato a casa. Personalmente, ho optato per il Genovese nella maggior parte delle cene, e quel piatto era assolutamente delizioso rispetto ad altri ristoranti nelle vicinanze dove l'ho provato. La carne era tenera e saporita, la pasta era perfetta, e la salsa dello stufato? non era eccessiva, rendendolo il piatto perfetto. Cincischi ai complimenti per il cuoco che lavora qui! Inoltre, è possibile noleggiare lettini a un prezzo ragionevole in una buona posizione."

"I really recommend this restaurant! We had dinner several evenings at La Fenice during the Easter holidays. Our daughter has celiac disease and was also able to eat typical dishes such as Sorrento gnocchi, which were exceptional. "We have known this restaurant since 2008 or 2009, when there were no recommendation services on the Internet yet, and the best recommendation for “where to go for dinner” in a foreign city was the advice of the receptionist. That’s how we got to know this restaurant and went there many times, we liked the cuisine, and Roberto prepared for us an incredible flambé dessert with orange liqueur made from fresh berries and ice cream. We haven't been to Milan for many years, but now we're back and found this restaurant. The kitchen was as wonderful as before. "Un buon posto specializzato in pasta fresca col pesce. Propone vari piatti classici come la pasta con le vongole o alla carbonara ma anche abbinamenti interessanti come le caserecce spada, melanzane e menta. La pasta é indubbiamente fresca e si sente, anche il pesce sembra di buona qualità. La cottura della pasta era giusta ma l 'impressione é che fosse stata cotta nel cuocipasta e solo dopo assemblata col pesce, di conseguenza la pasta non prende il sapore del pesce. Inoltre la quantità di pesce presente in due piatti diversi fa pensare che 'stiano indietro ' per poter tenere il prezzo di tutti i piatti uguale. Servizio efficiente e rapido, forse il proprietario é stato un po ' troppo insistente nel voler proporre ulteriori consumazioni senza fermarsi al primo rifiuto. Nel complesso, data la posizione e il concept se si ha voglia di un classico 'du spaghi con le vongole ' senza spendere troppo é il posto giusto."

"Cibo mediocre e servizio orribile. L'unica qualità positiva di questo ristorante è la posizione centrale. Cibo: la carbonara va bene, non è nulla di eccezionale ma è commestibile. La nostra guida turistica ci ha consigliato questo posto per i frutti di mare, quindi abbiamo ordinato due piatti a base di pesce, entrambi un disastro. La pizza di frutti di mare aveva una buona base e un buon sugo, ma il pesce non era affatto fresco e si sentiva. Abbiamo anche ordinato un'insalata di mare che abbiamo dovuto restituire. L'insalata conteneva cozze, gamberi e calamari, e nessuno di questi era fresco. Ho detto al cameriere di restituire il piatto o almeno di chiedere allo chef se avessero dei frutti di mare più freschi. Il cameriere ha risposto con un tono del tipo: serviamo questo piatto ogni giorno a molte persone, perché sei tu l'unico a lamentarti? Abbiamo dovuto restituire il piatto dopo quello che ha detto. Servizio: terribile. Il cameriere ha restituito il piatto a malincuore e ci ha portato il conto. Poi ci ha detto che il conto non includeva la mancia e ha chiesto quanto volevamo lasciargli con un tono molto aggressivo. Ha quindi suggerito di lasciare 3 euro come indicato nel menu, così ho detto va bene, lascerò tre euro (anche se non mi era mai stato chiesto di lasciare la mancia in Europa, poiché non è consuetudine). Il cameriere era visibilmente scontento. Ha riportato indietro il conto e HA LANCIO la nostra carta sul tavolo. Sono rimasto sconvolto. Poi mi ha detto molto ad alta voce che non aveva addebitato la mancia poiché sembravo scontento, ma non capisce perché, alzando la voce e attirando l'attenzione di altri tavoli. Non capisce perché fossimo scontenti? Mentre ce ne andavamo, continuava a ripetere perché fossi scontento e non gli avessi lasciato la mancia. Così gli ho detto che con il suo comportamento, dovrebbe sapere perché non fossi felice del suo servizio. Ci ha letteralmente inseguito dall'altra parte della strada per continuare a infastidirci sul motivo per cui non gli avevamo lasciato la mancia. Non si è fermato finché un suo collega non è uscito per controllare la situazione. Un servizio estremamente fuori controllo con cibo deludente. Non andare a meno che tu non voglia sentirti obbligato a lasciare la mancia e farti inseguire per strada."

"absolutely fantastic, must make restaurant in minori. antonio is incredibly friendly and worked with us to get his delicious lemon cream linguini from us also clear linguine for my picky foods. we tried both aprrol injections and limoncello splashes, with a little melonecello as an additional bonus, it was just lovely. in the did it was so lovely that we came back in the next night to get another limoncello splash. antonio is just wonderful. it is funny/interesting to talk to him and learn a little about minori and amalfi. this is the type of place, it will be by the covid hard times because it is just so good.
