Very good restaurant, the duck magret was excellent to its that the nut pie,just damage to the confites potatoes that had the taste of water..

Great meal in a very nice setting. Very nice waitress and smile. The dishes are delicious, homemade and from local producers. Moreover they are served quickly.

Brasserie in a friendly setting with terrace overlooking the Vézère. Nice boss and waitress. Plates prepared with local products and ratio/quality satisfactory price.

I enjoyed myself and the size of the gourmet salad... no 5th star because my banana Split came tired between the 34th and the hot chocolate the straw almost got rigor.

We can only confirm the great reviews we read before booking. Avoiding coming without reservation is so good and the setting with its terrace is perfect, that it is often full. I can only recommend

street side this restaurant doesn't pay a mine. But once inside, we don't say the same thing. Especially if you eat on the terrace. a breathtaking view. meals are very good. from the entrance to the dessert. Although the service was a little long.

Menu at 27,50€ rather average 2 slices of foie gras on a little bread, 3 salad leaves, lacks a small fig jam or an onion count. Menu at 15€ colin back: square fish straight out of the freezer. Super clumsy waitress who missed to spill my plate several times. To improve but very nice frame.

Staying locally with a Rail Discoveries party we had this resteraunt recommended by the hotel on our free night. Excellent town centre location and lovely atmosphere with an open area at the rear. We and 2 other friends had the set menu for 3 courses at about E15 , including 1/4 caraf of wine ! and we all enjoyed it and the steak. (Though others in our party went off the menu and thought it a little expensive). Staff were very good and friendly and we managed to understan each other in broken French and English. Well worth a visit but not open on a Saturday and Sunday.

We visted Oscar’s for lunch during our holiday visiting the area. We had heard good reviews so decided to visit. When we first arrived the reception wasn’t great. I asked if the man at the counter could speak English (I asked in French) to which he simply replied ‘no’. fair enough but it later transpired that most of the staff could speak English. Anyway we went ahead to have our meal. There was 7 of us but we were told they couldn’t sit together regardless of the restaurant being practically empty.
