Brauhaus Spandau - Piatti

the Brauhaus is not in a central region, thus, not so known for tourists. It is close to the lake,and just amazing, their beers and food are very good, Lovely place, certainly go back.

We had dinner there and we were very satisfied. Tasty beer, mainly dunkel, quick staff and meal was very good. Goulash soup was big and full of meat. Would reccomend to visit this beerhouse.

We went here after a loong tour around Zitadelle Spandau, perfect choice. Interior is bright and festive, some of the rooms have a glass window into brewery departments.More than half of the place was occupied or under reserve, yet we found a good spot to enjoy our meal. This is a great place to eat and drink. The Brauhaus has a wonderful atmosphere and seems to be very popular. We stayed there for 3 nights and the place was packed every night. Traditional German food and rich portions. They brew and serve their own beer, which is great by the way. They even had Beer liquor . It can be wise to book table in advance. I would recommend a table on second floor overlooking the bar.

10 of us visited without a reservation on a Friday night - not a problem for the accommodating staff, who led us to a bench table, brought us our drinks, and waited till we were ready before asking for our food order. The place was very busy, but the staff were friendly, and Vanessa, who spoke four languages, was quite happy to translate the menus into English for us. The food, drink, and atmosphere all led to a great evening.

Our trip was on a busy Saturday night. Service was OK but what put us off a bit was the constantly rotating lights and the loud music which detracted from what should have been a very nice atmosphere. There were just two types of house-brewed draft beer, with the dunkel being the more interesting. Food was the usual wurst and co; decent helpings but nothing special. Brauhause has a selection of self-produced beer to offer and traditional berlin food that suits it well. Place is very popular among locals, but you can also find here many tourists. Menu is design to suits this place, especially different kind of beer, so do not deceive yourself – this food will not keep you fit :-)It is definitely worth to try it: light or brown beet with wurst parade or other snacks. This unigue place is good for meeting with friends or as a stop while sightseeing Spandau Old Town.

This is a great place. It's not central, but on the U line so worth the extra effort. We went last week in the evening, so we didn't see the surrounding area, although I understand it's pleasant in the summer. We booked a table and I'm glad we did as the place was packed, and we didn't want to sit up at the bar. There were customers just in there for a drink and also diners.The food was great, I wanted typical German bierkellar food and that's what we got. This is just one brewpub that I highly recommend you visit if you enjoy great beer's and superb meal's in a wonderful brew pub. The brew pub is awesome,a multi roomed brewpub with pine tables and chairs,big shiny brewing kettles on display,beer and brewing ephemera plastered all over the brewpub and one outstanding outside terrace,this really is one stand out brew pub.
