Cozy place in Moabit with nice outside area. Children are welcome and have a seperated place, where they can play, while you enjoy delicious burgers, that you can built yourself. Friendly service personal.

Staff likes to argument against the customers voice and wishes. After one member of the staff apparently gave away our table to another staff member, we found the same deflective behaviour. Bad service seems to be endemic there.

I visited this restaurant on holiday to berlin and it was just brilliant. the staff was excellent and very helpful. eating was excellent and I enjoyed laughing with the staff while I used my broken german. really nice and friendly place.

A Cute little café That sells books With breakfast and lunch. It closes quite early but is ideal for an intensive breakfast with family/friends. The service is a little slow (and I was there a couple of times) but the Atmosphere and good food/drink make...that acceptable.

I find most burgers in Europe rubbery and with a bad aftertaste. This place specializes in unusual burger toppings. Mine came with goat cheese, honey, tomatoes, and walnuts. Best of all, the beef was fresh and tender. And the restaurant is also a bookstore that...carries some English books.

My friend and I were in the book kantine for the first time and felt very comfortable, super tasty breakfast, very nice service and then the combination with the bookshop, where you will also be nicely advised and can look around in peace, we had a good time, definitely a recommendation from us.

very nice staff and fast service. they realized that we were English and were taken over the English menu. we came to have breakfast and ordered the great gatsby; eier, speck, 3 slices toast, a mix of fruits (all on a plate) and orange juice for...9.95euro it felt a bit expensive, but over all it was a nice quiet and friendly location on the side of the city where there is not much variety. it is also a bookstore and a place where they can spend hours without feeling how they have to go.

I’ve been to this restaurant café several times already for either lunch or in the afternoon. The dishes and cakes are very tasty and the choices are quite contemporary. Prices for food as well as for some drinks, both warm and cold, seem to...me a bit overpriced. The exceptional thing about the Buchkantine is the bookshop attached and the public viewing of “Tatort” crime films on Sunday nights. Staff is generally nice and professional and thanks to a new call system one doesn’t need to wait very long until a waitress comes to the table. It’s okay to go to the Buchkantine in general. But competition close by is high, so for lunch or dinner, there are other options around.
