lovely service. the lady serving us had an amazing response for the fact that the stake I ordered, which was the house specialty, was not cooked rare as requested. we will come back and give this amazing restaurant with lake views the opportunity to be a five star.

When interested in spending a bit more on a lovely experience, I hope to have as wonderful an experience here as I had the first time: great service, great food, lovely atmosphere at their outdoor seating when the weather is good. (I don't yet know what they do when it rains? There are also tables indoors. Do outdoor reservations get cancelled?

We have booked a family Christmas dinner, as we have done for many years. This time, despite the initial statement to the contrary, we have to choose between 2 meat menus and the starters are also limited to 2... the kitchen would be small... so who on December 3rd. book... there is beef and leaf salad, everything else is too much for the service/cook.

Having heard a lot of good reviews we went for dinner. Inside the restaurant (room in the back it was quite loud. The waiters were friendly in a weird way and the food... well their signature entrecôte dish is brought in 3 plates: 1 with the meat and the café de paris (sauce , 1 with salty french fries and 1 where you put both together to eat : No veggies or other sides.

It is a pity for such a nice setting and tasty and well presented food to be accompanied with such a waiter. I don’t know why the guy was in a bad mood this day but that’s definitely not a way to treat and serve your clients. Very arrogant and aggressive person. Although the welcoming lady was very nice and friendly but this guy has ruined our lunch. A 5 stars on everything except service and experience which barely gets a star. I hope that this post will lead to action and that they speak to the guy in order for him to get his attitude straight.

I have been visiting the Bürgli for many years and I am glad it has not really changed much over the years. This time it was to celebrate my wife 's 70th birthday together with with good friends, a group of fifteen. When wee booked well in advance the management asked if we could decide on a menu for all which I think is fair enough. It was a busy Sunday at lunchtime weather being fine all tables in the garden were occupied. From the garden you have a splendid view of the city and the lake.
