"We made a reservation with a group of 7 friends. We did a 3 day walking trip in the Vulcan Eifel. We had to wait for 90 minutes before our diner was served. We arrived at 20h and finally started eating at 22h. Several tables who arrived later were served before us. We did not get any apologies. Food was very moderate. Cafe next door with glass sliding doors. Cigarette smoke of cafe enters restaurant which is very annoying."

Wenn man vom Wandern heimkommt und durstig und hunrig ist man hier richtig,toller Garten frisch gezapftes Bier und regionales Essen,preisleistung enorm.

Einmal im Jahr besuchen wir Daun und ein Besuch im Restaurant ist immer wieder ein Genuss. Es geht schnell, das Personal ist sehr freundlich und das Essen Schmeckt?

"Als bestes Restaurant in Daun waren meine Erwartungen hoch. Viele Gäste haben hier angeblich das beste Steak ihres Lebens gegessen. Nun, wenn die so waren wie meins, haben sie noch nie gute Steaks gegessen. Ich jedenfalls habe schon Steaks rund um den Erdball gegessen. Aber Geschmack ist bekanntlich auch sehr subjektiv. Die Welle um das Dry Aged Beef und den 800C Grill ist jedenfalls groß. Umso grösser war meine Enttäuschung. Bestellt hatte ich das Rumpsteak medium rare. Gekommen ist medium well. Es wäre sicherlich besser gewesen es gleich zurückgehen zu lassen, da ich in Begleitung war wollte ich aber kein Aufhebens machen. Das arme Stück Fleisch hat nicht einen Tropfen Saft mehr abgegeben. Und die dazu bestellte Cafe de Paris Butter wurde nur in einer homäopatischen Dosis in Form von drei Linien auf dem Teller gegeben, die sehr schnell verbraucht waren. Aber geschmacklich war das Fleisch wenigsten gut. Mit dem richtigen Gargrad und mehr Sauce/Butter hätte es vielleicht etwas werden können. Schade drum. Der Rest meines Essens war ordentlich. Die Bratkartoffeln zugegeben, waren sehr gut. Mein Bekannter hatte einen Burger. Optisch sehr ansprechend. Wie er geschmacklich war vermag ich nicht zu sagen. Der Service war freundlich aber nicht wirklich aufmerksam was wohl auch daran lag, dass wir in einem Nebenraum saßen so dass wir uns teilweise bemerkbar machen mussten. Somit war es ein ziemlich durchwachsener Abend. Ob ich wieder komme weiß ich nicht. Ich werde erstmal schauen ob es in der Gegend tatsächlich auch irgendwo wirklich gute Steaks gibt."

"On recommendation of our landlord, we reserved for Monday, in this place. It's her favorite restaurant. Well, she always orders the same thing and that tastes very good. The restaurant is located in the middle of the village and a few parking spaces are right outside the door. We were very kindly received by a girl who led us directly into the conservatory. That's where we were sitting. Beer from the barrel, it was only Bitburger. But as we did not know the Croatian beer Karlovacko, we drank it. 0,33 L bottle, at 3,10 Euro. It's a dirty pils with 5.1. Since I didn't have to drive, I drank two bottles. As an appetizer, males chose Calamaris with toast and garlic in separate bowl, at 8.50 euros. It tasted him very well. The garlic was in oil and it was abundant in garlic slices. I ordered the Back Camembert on toast with cranberries, at 7.50 euros. I haven't eaten forever. Back to the 80s. The Camembert, it was 2, was perfect The cheese ran out nicely, at the time. I would have found it even better if the toast had been dead and the pineapple was fresh and not from the can. Since males never get liver at home, he first ordered liver at 13.50 euros,but when he read on the map that in the cleanser meat there is also liver, he asked if he can still reorder. It wasn't a problem. The 4 euros more, were bonged. The predator meat cost 17.50 euros and was served on a hot plate. This was abundantly occupied with 2 pork steaks, 1 chop steak, 1 meat skewer, 2 Cevapcici, liver, Djuvec rice, pommes, onion cubes and paprika dip. Salt fillet from grill with herbal butter, salt potatoes and spinach, to 16.50 euros. The salmon with the herbal butter was perfect. That's what you have to do when you order the Croatian, German cuisine, even if it is offered. When we asked for the bill, the service asked us if we wanted another Slivovic or a Julischka. Männe chose the Slivovic and I took the Julischka. Conclusion: Winter garden very appealing, operation super nice, but the food more mass,as a class."
