"I was there with my fiancé and ordered a cappuccino that was totally horrible. When I informed the owner on the not drinkable coffee, even added lots of sugar that didn’t make it better, he got furious, telling me about all the great reviews he...got in the past. Not a single word that could have been seen as an apology or anything alike. No. Just words of how bad my taste must be (that day but also in general) that I didn’t like his cappuccino. We also had a piece of cake each, and wanted to use a voucher. We got the impression that prices for cakes are higher with voucher than they are without having a voucher. He also doesn’t show prices for the different cakes, only tells them roughly when explicitly asking for them. The pieces for those with vouchers also tend to be smaller than those for regular guests. To clarify a little more: the visit mentioned was our third visit to Café Jolie, and during all the visits we noticed the same things smaller pieces of cake when presenting a voucher and weird, unclear pricing. It was the first time the coffee was horrible. For us the last time we went there. I do not recommend this location. There are better cafés in Regensburg that also offer better cakes."

it is a small caffe on a quiet backyard. from a very helpful man, the woman makes beautiful sandwiches and snacks. we ate twice here. I had rührei with garnel the first time, then a smoked salmon and avocado baguette the second time...beide absolutely fresh. and delicious. also wine or coffee.

The breakfast brunch here is absolutely beautiful. Enough for two to share the breakfast platter (Frühstück) which is so beautifully presented. Or for if hungry, you wont want to leave it. Incredible variety of choices , catering for vegetarian vegan palates too....The owner is so helpful provides wonderful service. The cafe is in a two hundred year old building, where Oskar Schindler started his work.
