"Main reason we chose this café was that they had children's menu. A margherita pizza, a soft drink and an ice cream for 12 Euro each which must be considered as a bargain in Saint-Tropez harbor. It is beautifully located just by the harbor with a view over some smaller boats. It is somewhat busy though and it feels a little stressful seeing the very stressed personnel."

Rude and arrogant waiter. Food and drinks were fine, but waiter very arrogant. Prices quite cheap considering place.

Visited the place two days ago. Menu says beyond meat burger, but when we asked waiter if the had any vegan dishes, he answered no. Go figure? Coffee was okay. Updated from previous review on 2022-04-18

Food was average at best. Service was simply awful. Had a baby with us and the staff were most unfriendly. Also, there was no toilet or changing facilities available which is unacceptable for a large restaurant serving food. AVOID Visualizza piatti

Having wondered around and put off by the 'down looking' staff at posher restaurants this was by far the best decision we've made, the steak beats that had at the Shard etc, likewise for the lemon chicken, shall be returning just for the food

Well placed so obviously we pay the location. Nice team, however, 1 single choice on the menu "Vegetarian salad" at 18€. The plate is copyy, flavors I discovered but frankly it’s a little expensive for what it is. I didn’t ask the question, but it looks completely vegan.

Cafe Madeleine is located in the harbour overlooking all the nice boats/yachts. We went there for dinner and the sun was on the way down. A lot of people moving around and watching. The service and the food was very good. Some of the dishes can be spicy so ask when you order. Visualizza piatti

Stopped at the Cafe Madelaine on a sweltering day expecting a high priced tourist trap. My mistake!!! Had a great tasting lunch with a bottle of wine for four for less than £100! Throw in the cooling air sprays and the great service and this was a great find and well recommended!

There are almost no ways to find something vegan in the region. This restaurant in a beautiful location at the port offers 2 vegan dishes (the photographed map of other users is no longer up to date) and 1 vegan appetizer (Focaccia with Ratatouille). Everything was delicious. Small portions, however, for this expensive but it is St.Tropez... Okay.

"we had the 5 course menu, 1 normal, 1 vegetarian. the vegetarian was good but not up to the standard we experienced in similar establishments and not on the level of the non-vegetarian. waiters also did not mention it. it was just a small part on the bottom of the menu. we felt that's also about the appreciation it got from the chef. in our opinion, if u offer a vegetarian menu, it must be on an equal level as the rest of the menu. it wasn't (seems as if les légumes alone just are not much of an inspiration to the chef which clearly reflected in the courses). it wasn't bad but from a 3 star restaurant I expect fireworks even without meat; especially if the theme is provénce. the normal 5 course menu was good but the overuse of grapefruit started to annoy me after the second time 4 or so slices were used on my dish as it was way too sour, clearly overshadowing the other flavors and the note of sour even persisted through the coursesafter the palette refreshener which also contained some lemon notes came the dessert (kind of lemon tart) which was so sour that we both could not finish it. it was like a punch in the face after such perfectly and tastefully balanced 4 previous courses that explored familiar and unfamiliar flavor profiles and combinations (on a deserved 3 star level in my opinion - even though I missed obvious associations to la provénce). the rest of the desserts (which seemed to make up of 30%+ of the overall food volume; no idea why such an emphasis on sweet/sour for just a 5 course meal) couldn't help and were clearly on a much lower level as the rest of the food which was very disappointing to us. also, to be honest, lemon notes belong more to Italy than to the provence (google oops I dropped the lemon tart). all in all a mixed experience which started strong and gradually worsened. A bite into a lemon or grapefruit would have given me a purer taste of la provence if i wanted to explore the perfect sour note. service was excellent, excited and friendly. wine pairing good."
