"Anlässlich der Schlemmermenu - Aktion besuchten wir das Restaurant Völligen. Leider hatten wir es nicht so mit dem Wettergott und wir verbrachten die Zeit im gemütlichen Restaurant anstelle auf der Aussichtsterrasse. Wir wurden sehr rasch und freundlich bedient. Das Salatteller war liebevoll und mit vielen frischen Salaten angerichtet. Das Chili-Cordon bleu hatte die richtige Schärfe und wurde von diversen frischen Gemüsen begleitet. Ebenfalls das Schweins-Steak - dies war ein richtiges Stück Fleisch - ein Steak wie man sich das wünscht. Dies wurde ebenfalls mit frischem Gemüse und Country Potatoes serviert. Ein absoluter Hit ist der Eiscaffee Coupe. Ich wage zu behaupten, dass ich schon lange kein so feines Eiscaffee mehr hatte. Das Essen in diesem Restaurant ist absolut zu Empfehlen. Die Küche, der Service und auch der Preis stimmt. Und falls der Wettergott mitmacht ist auch die Aussicht auf den Urnersee ein Augenschmaus."

"I would happily give more than 5 stars! We recommend! *Food was very, very good. Everything freshly prepared, good temperature. Very large portions, more than enough *Service: perfect! Everyone was very nice and accommodating without being intrusive. We asked at regular intervals whether everything was okay. *Prices: the price range is perfectly fine. Even cheap for the size of the portions. *Parking: There are parking spaces in front of the restaurant *Animals: we were there with two dogs, this was absolutely no problem. Summary: Great restaurant, we'd love to come back!"

"Das Bellevue hat sich nach seiner Renovation zu einem sehr stilvollen Restaurant entwickelt in dem von dem neuen (aber bekannten) Team eine sehr gute und authentische Küche geboten wird - wir waren seit dem Herbst 2016 mehrmals dort. Besonders hervozuheben ist ganz klar die regionale Fischküche - diese ist nach Schliessung des Rigiblicks in Lauerz aus meiner Sicht die beste weit und breit. Unprätentiös, kein "chi-chi" aus der Gault-Millau-Welt, was aber auch nicht notwendig ist, denn: Die grosse Kunst, welche die Bellevue Küche beherrscht liegt in der Präparation der Saucen - diese sind hervorragend geglückt und zeugen von einem profunden Kochverständnis. Nicht nur die Fischküche macht Freude, sondern auch in der Wildsaison ist man auf der "Höhe". Wiederum erwähnenswert die Saucen - und die selbstgemachten Spätzli, very nice! "Verbesserungspotential" gibt es noch bei den Desserts - dort dürften noch 2-3 wirklich hausgemachte Spezialitäten/Kreationen hinzugefügt werden. Die Weinauswahl ist gut, man findet in allen Kategorien etwas "passendes". Das Servicelevel ist kompetent, die Crew sehr engagiert und herzlich.Im Sommer ist die Terrasse direkt am See traumhaft!"

"Food was excellent with the exception of the empenadas. The spinach was not fresh or easy to chew. The chicken and beef were phenomenal. Bread on chimichanga delicious and crispy. Great meal. I'm still reeling from price shock, it was $218 for 4 people, that would buy you filet mignon with desert for 4 people at an upscale restaurant in America. I don't know how people in Switzerland do it. Way too expensive. Cons: why can't restaurants in Europe offer free drinking water with a meal? We had to wait 15 mins to pay our bill. The waitresses had too many tables. We went up to the front and paid. In America the waitress usually notices we are done eating and we ask for the check."

"Unfortunately we can't report on the rooms or food, but the staff is super friendly and extremely helpful. The two of us arrived in Brunnen extremely spontaneously and quite late in the evening and asked for a room at this hotel. Unfortunately, none of them were free and everything was fully booked. However, the gentleman at the reception didn't let himself be put off and asked about the budget and called every hotel on the phone and asked if they still had a room. But there was nothing free in the whole of Brunnen, so he continued to make phone calls until he was able to reserve a room for us at the Hotel Alpenblick in Weggis. They even organized a taxi for us there at a great rate. If we could give more stars we would. If at some point we book a room in Brunnen less spontaneously, it will definitely be in this hotel. Many thanks to the gentleman at the reception on the evening of August 26th, whose name I unfortunately didn't remember, but whose friendliness and willingness to help will definitely be remembered."
