"with friends who were before. the restaurant is small with maybe 30 covers and was full in the night when I left. had the steak that was as delicate as butter cut. I thought the prizes were pretty reasonable considering everything was going on. small wine list, but sufficient. I liked the use of kegs as decoration, a nice note. a pleasant evening all around."

"we were one night in our residential property in the parking space in exchange for a meal and some drinks. good quality le on offer we both dedicated the huge fish chips. I had hoped that there would be more seafood in the offer, as it means that it is a seafood restaurant. they were however fish chips or lobster dick. that is, the fish and chips were absolutely delicious. portions were so big, but I couldn't enjoy pudding. we were very welcome to let dogs in. very good!"

"We called to book at this restaurant and the staff let us know they were booked for the evening. We were tired and hungry from a long day of travel and touring, and I asked them for walk in recommendations, which they kindly provided. While I was looking into those options, the staff at Red Skye called back and had a cancellation. We hurried over and were warmly greeted by the two kindest servers we've ever encountered. We enjoyed appetizers of scallops and cullen skink soup, then main courses of Langoustines and Mushroom Risotto. My husband and I shared all of the dishes, and topped the meal off with a rhubarb/berry crumble with vanilla ice cream. The servers also provided friendly conversation and assisted us in the best route to our next stop. By far, one of the best meals and definitely the kindest, most fun staff of any restaurants we dined in. Highly recommend, but book ahead!"

"I ordered vegan haggis with chips, mushy peas, and curry sauce. The chips and curry sauce were delicious, but the vegan haggis was bland and the mushy peas were cold. Despite this, I was quite hungry so I ended up finishing most of my meal. The total cost of £6.95, along with an extra £1.50 each for the curry sauce and peas, was reasonable for Skye. However, the service was a bit strange. Despite advertising as vegan-friendly, I didn't feel like they were very accommodating. When I asked about the haggis, I was met with an annoyed response about it just being fried vegetables. I tried to ask more questions but received blank responses. It wasn't even busy at the time, so I was surprised by the lack of attentiveness. Another customer who ordered non-vegan food also experienced similar service. Overall, it's an okay place to stop by if you're hungry and just looking for a quick meal."

"I reserved a table here for one of our evenings on the Isle of Skye, and we were thrilled that we did! They offered one vegan main dish and two vegetarian options that could be made vegan. Our servers were incredibly accommodating and attentive. We also enjoyed the vegan salted caramel chocolate cake with vegan vanilla ice cream, which was fantastic. I highly recommend this place if you're visiting Skye! My only criticism is that their website doesn't clearly indicate the availability of vegan options, and this could be improved on the menu as well."
