25 minutes waiting for 2 monaco, wait your hands in the pockets without doing anything, ask if you are major once the glasses are served and paid. very expensive.

We ate in that restaurant one night. the restaurant is very well decorated, very beautiful furniture and we were served quite quickly just a small apartment, the waitress was a bit unpleasant and seemed bad. price level is a little too expensive but it’s good. Otherwise, I recommend!

Yet another restaurant to put in our list of good Bordeaux restaurants. The starters (octopus casserole for me and escargot for my other half) and the dishes (scallops and sweet potato puree and prawn risotto) were tasty and delicious. The dishes were plentiful and unfortunately I did not have the pleasure of tasting their profiteroles which I saw passed to another table but it was only later. If you see a photo of them it means we will be back. Big plus at the cocktail which is a treat.

I thought that the very low rating might be a bit harsh: the restaurant was clean and the service, though a bit slow, was willing. The plat de jour was fine: standard fare, not imaginative but well executed and apparently value for money. But the shenanigans with the bill was a parody worthy of 1970s Spain! Grossly inflated, with the kitchen staff even coming front of house to look menacing as I sought to correct it. I think with hindsight the advice to avoid is sadly bang on. But if you do take the plunge and the bill is pumped with botox, hold your ground: insist that you are charged for what you actually consumed and at the price shown on the menu.!! I suspect that Cafe Cajou wont be arou...
