"I booked a table for 6.30pm and the restaurant was empty. My partner, an Interior Design Stylist, was not impressed with the disjointed decor, although the seats were firm, which was nice and the flooring was appealing. The waitress/Cook came out with complimentary starters, which was a nice touch but when I asked was it was she proceeded to tell me whilst touching the food at the same time, which was very surprising and disappointing as we are in the midst of a viral pandemic! The big let down was the time it took from ordering to receiving the food 1 hour and as the dishes were not that complicated I was very again disappointed I had Jerk Pork with Salad and my partner had Chicken drumsticks with 2 sides, Jollof Rice and Plantain. The portions were generous but the meat was over cooked on both counts, very dry and the drumsticks had to be dissected to find the bits that could be eaten. The Jollof rice and plantain were enjoyable. We paid half price for the food and just as well because I don't think it would have been worth the £48 including drinks (1 Baileys and 1 small bottle of lager) it would have cost without the discount. So food average but service poor. I hope this review helps them to improve."

The food was delicious and the servings were very generous. Although we had to wait a little while for our meals, we were given complimentary snacks which was a nice touch.

The food took an hour to arrive there was only one lady cooking the food. Even when the food came they forgot some of the items so it took even longer. The food itself was decent though

With my girlfriend for a casual dinner and this place was perfect. We decided to try Africa as it is a cuisine we haven't really eaten much and this restaurant did not disappoint. Great food and nice atmosphere. Will definitely be back.

Our welcome was warm and convivial, the menu is extensive and the food was absolutely delicious. We had the stew (both the beef and fish), jollof, fufu and plantain chips. We were also served a starter of fresh yam chips on the house. The calabash stew hit the spot for me and I will definitely return with more friends to savour the spice especially as the weather gets colder. 10/10, would highly recommended
