"We called in on Thursday lunch time for something to eat. We didn't have too long to wait for our food to arrive and we both enjoyed our meals. The only negative comment is that my Dad had ordered Lasagne which stated on the menu it was served with a side salad and garlic bread, but there was no garlic bread on his plate. I wanted to ask about it, but he didn't want me to make a fuss....so I didn't say anything. Apart from that little mishap, a very enjoyable visit."

We have visited this restaurant a couple of times for breakfast and it is much better than the Wetherspoons across the road, where we used to go.

Went here for lunch and not only was the service excellent but the food was AMAZING, freshly cooked, tasty and at a great price. Would definitely recommend.

Recently refurbished and what an improvement, looks really nice now with a nice atmosphere, food was very nice too, I would definitely recommend a visit there.

Both of our drink orders were incorrect, the waitstaff was rude and unhelpful when we brought it up, and our food was also not what we ordered so we had to order more just to avoid the hassle of returning items to the bar. This was the first time I'd actually ordered food here, and wasn't impressed at all. After a wait of approximately 40 minutes, our subs arrived. The beef inside was not to my liking at all, very thick but so chewy, it wasn't nice at all. It was a very busy day, so I didn't complain.... maybe I should have, as its definitely put me off from eating their again

We often go for breakfast in brighouse usually on a saturday morning and usually to the wetherspoons across the road , This week we tried the Calder and it was a pleasant suprice m, a much better quality breakfast than across the road and not long to wait, i would have given five stars but for the male member of staff who kept wandering around the tables and rudely kept just taking things off our table without asking eg ,menus and condiments etc.
