"Was staying in Esslingen and wanted pizza, so we ate here one night. I really love German pizza, as they tend to be thin crust and tasty. This one is thin, but average at best. Started with the caprese salad, which was good, but not...great (cherry tomatoes and not enough balsamic). I then had the margherita pizza. The sauce sauce and cheese were good, but the pizza was slightly undercooked and the cheese and sauce were only at the center; way too much crust for my taste. We did had a couple beers which were really good, and the service was friendly, but average. Also, they don't do credit cards; cash only. Overall, it was not terrible, but we most certainly will not be returning."

Arrived at a hotel close by at to be told that chef had gone and kitchen closed so no bar food even!! (very Fawlty Towers). Tried restaurants in Esslingen to be told they closed at Found this little nugget of a restaurant...also closing up but they were brilliant and made us very welcome and produced the complete menu for us. Nothing was too much trouble and the Pizzas we ordered were fantastic!! Will definitely visit this restaurant again next time we are on business there.
