Past the church, right when you’re about to give up there’s a utterly charming restaurant. Amazing views, dining under the massive trees. Homemade pasta, friendly staff. All in all an unforgettable lunch spot

This restaurant is literally a diamond in the rough. Located at the top of a mountain overlooking Rapallo, this restaurant was everything that we could have asked for. The view and local were stunning, and the service were absolutely fantastic! Gianluca was the perfect host...and his menu was only outdone by his and his staffs’ friendly service. We ended up going back as it was superb! Thank you Gianluca!

Oltre al santuario che merita una visita, questo vecchio ristorante dell'hotel nato come rifugio di montagna negli anni '40, ha il suo fascino. Recentemente ristrutturato nella parte dell'hotel con l'inserimento dei bagni in alcune camere, è un luogo circondato dalla natura, con una vista fantastica sul promontorio sotto Portofino. Il ristorante, una volta molto rustico con poche scelte, ora è al pari dei ristoranti della costa, anche con prezzi simili a Rapallo, dista circa 12 km dalla costa.

we were in the hotel near and accidentally came over this jewel of a restaurant in the wilderness at the top of the hill. the personal was so friendly and welcoming absolutely amazing, and the eating was delicious! we loved it so much that we came back twice to dinner on our three-day visit. we enjoyed everything from caprese salat, auberginen parmigiana, ravioli ragu, muscheln in an amazingly tasty wine sauce, and tagliatelle porcini...all was so incredibly tasty and the personal was excellent friendly and attentive. highly recommended!

ora per un inizio, la posizione è mozzafiato. Seconda giornata estiva, raggi solari, vista spettacolare di santa margherita, positano e rapallo. abbiamo preso la funivia di stand per ulteriore “spettacolarità” (se c'è una tale parola). un menu tipico per la zona con mangiare super fresco. e ben preparato. e questa visione. Abbiamo inciampato in questo modo dietro la basilica. c'erano famiglie locali troppo mezzogiorno e stavamo visitando sotto un piccolo gruppo di (se affatto). bel modo di finire una settimana per esplorare la costa ligure.

We stumbled upon this lovely restaurant/bar at the top of the mountain while staying at the hotel nearby. The views of Rapallo are incredible, as well as the friendly atmosphere of this place. Gianluca and his staff go out of there way to make you...feel welcome, including his personal touch of sitting down at your table to explain the menu and specials to all. Mama Gainluca is working hard in the kitchen too turning out delicious authentic Italian dishes. We loved this place so much we returned for a second visit and last meal before leaving Rapallo. Highly recommended! If I could give it more stars I would!

Un posto dove il silenzio probabilmente farà la sua parte migliore, il personale è rispettoso e mai invadente. Un posto da vedere, ma soprattutto da ascoltare e saper ascoltare. Il cibo, è cibo! genuino, fatto in casa e soprattutto della zona; le porzioni sono moderate e la qualità del pesce fresco, dei dolci fatti in casa, nel cestino non manca la focaccia, materie prime di qualità. Tutto è stato portato in tavola con estrema cura per diventare un luogo unico; dove contemplare, riconoscere o iniziare a farsi conoscere, la vista immensa per ammirare la bellezza della creazione. Un luogo adatto per chi ama la vita, la bellezza e la natura. Consigliato per famiglie, camminatori, coppie solide,...

La Casa Pellegrino si trova a Rapallo sul Monteallegro. Questo può essere raggiunto in autobus o funivia. Dopo essere salito con il primo e sceso con il secondo, posso dire che la funivia è l'opzione migliore. È un breve tragitto di 8 minuti fino alla cima, circondati da un paesaggio bellissimo e tranquillo, perfetto per escursioni, trekking e ciclismo. Le scale portano alla santità della Madonna del Monteallegro. Di fronte alla chiesa c'è un sentiero che porta alla Casa Pellegrino. C'è una grande terrazza con viti e altri alberi, l'atmosfera è totalmente rilassante. Ci siamo seduti a un tavolo con una magnifica vista su Rapallo. Siamo stati accolti calorosamente dal proprietario e abbiamo o...

we wanted to eat in the other restaurant behind the cable car and in front of the church. but my man discovered it while we explore the way behind the church and we decided to eat there. there are many tables in the garden of the hotel, and there is a magnificent view of the hills, all the way to the coast! we got a table without booking and had to wait one to be given the menu and then order. my man had an salate and decided to have pasta with ragu. the salate was very good, the pasta was in order. I didn't know it was only with chop meat and without tomato sauce, plus it had nelken in him that spoiled my taste, but I managed to almost finish it. inexpensive I would say it is in the typical...
