Amazing food as always Waitress with curly hair was so nice and super friendly we had a lovely chat and she was super attentive

While wondering around Windsor we found this quite and wonderful place to eat in the railway station in side under cover with out side tables great fun.

Best steak meal we’ve ever eaten. Succulent, thick sirloin juicy tender, the taste is memorable. Service atmosphere is second to none, staff very efficient professional as well as welcoming will travel to just go here again for a special meal.

We had such an amazing meal, the steaks and ribs were perfectly cooked and probably one of the best we have eaten, just outstanding. I was very disappointed after hearing all the hype and reading some good reviews about this restaurant. It did not live up to our expectations. The service was poor and the ribs were average with no vegetables or coleslaw, just ribs and a small portion of chips for £24. Our food was thrown onto the table, the staff did not speak to us and seemed rushed and unhappy. We wanted condiments but it was hard to get the attention of the staff. Adding a 12% tip for such poor service was not reasonable. Maybe we visited at the wrong time, but unfortunately, I will not be returning.

After hearing about this restaurant, we were a bit skeptical about whether the reviews were accurate. However, after dining there and meeting the amazing team, we were pleasantly surprised. The service we received upon arrival was fantastic - courteous and prompt. The food was top-notch, clean, fresh, flavorful, and there was plenty of it. Kudos to the entire team - from the servers to the host who greeted us, and the manager, not to mention the chefs who prepared our meal. We had a wonderful experience and can't wait to come back in December to celebrate our son's birthday with more family. 10/10, thank you all. - PAUL

My partner and I had our first date at this restaurant a few years ago, and every time we have returned, the food and service have been excellent. I am usually hesitant to order steaks when dining out, as they are often poorly prepared or cooked incorrectly. However, I have never had any issues with the steaks at Cattlegrid. The portion sizes are generous, there are plenty of side options, and while the prices may be a bit high, the quality of the food justifies it. The manager/owner is usually on hand and ensures that everything is to your liking.
