Chapati Club - Piatti

An excellent find. A cut above the standard Indian restaurant menu without the formality or price tag of Michelin starred dining. A nicely curated wine last adds to the overall experience.

After a few years of ordering from Deliveroo, we finally visited Chapati Club in person. The food was even better in real life - no pretense, just delicious and flavorful dishes. Highly recommended!

I was here two times in the last month. Eating, service and atmosphere is excellent. much better than most Indian restaurants in london. there is a home cooked authentic feeling for eating not easily found. keralan style garnel and bryani are particularly remarkable. I'm back! Visualizza piatti

This lovely, cozy, independent restaurant is a gem with amazing food. We were highly recommended to try it out and we were not disappointed! We ordered the chicken g and the acton railway lamb, both dishes were flavorful, tender, and had amazing depth of flavor. Definitely worth a visit even if you're not local!

Cozy restaurant , great service , staff are friendly . As for food it was amazingly authentic , all our dishes were super tasty we had starters: okra fries , hariyali chicken and samosa chana garlic mains were : the chicken61 , butter chicken (highly recommended) and acton railway lamb (literally melts in ur mouth) with garlic naan

I this place! The food is so original and delicious. The team are friendly, caring, kind and pitch perfect. I’ve brought many friends here and they themselves have all become regulars, all saying it’s their favourite Indian restaurant, even those that say, ‘I’m not usually a curry person’, which is a questionable thing to admit. What a fantastic find! I only discovered this restaurant at the weekend and I’m so glad I made an impromptu booking for the same evening. Excellent food from a really well thought through menu, with dishes ranging from the comfortingly familiar to excitingly new experiences for me anyway), and all executed to perfection. Staff were all helpful and super friendly, and the simple yet quirky decor really added to the whole experience (adore the Air India wall art). We will most certainly be making a return trip without doubt.

We had a saturday night table (not a large group) booked around 7/7.30pm. It was obviously peak time, both in the restaurant and with deliveries, so we did find that service was extremely slow. It was 8.45 before our main courses arrived, which was not great. The food was generally good, outside the usual range of curries, with the prawn main being a particular hit on our table, and the Acton lamb was also judged to be very tasty. Poppadoms were a bit soggy though, and the cassava side was so fiercely chilli that even the heat-lovers in our party couldn't eat more than a few bites. So a bit mixed if we're honest.

If we were to describe Chapati Club using a common saying, it would be: appearances can be deceiving. Despite its simple decor and straightforward menu, the food we had in the evening exceeded our initial expectations. This place is not pretentious at all, yet the dishes we tried were quite impressive, showcasing a mastery of Indian flavors and a harmonious balance. It's worth noting that the dishes are generally moderately spiced, with the option to add heat for those who prefer it. Our only criticism would be the lackluster dessert menu at Chapati Club, which currently feels somewhat lacking.
