The food along with the staff and their service were really nice. The price was very reasonable compared to other indian hotels in pairs and quantity was good enough. Would certainly recommend this hotel

This place was near my hotel and I was exhausted and really fancied a hot curry. One that basis I entered the premises and what a pleasure it was to dine here!! We were staying at a hotel on the river and found this little gem....the food was fantastic and authentic. The restaurant was mostly empty at all hours when we passed by which gave us a pause before entering but we ended up going there twice as the service was superb, staff very friendly (in paris!) and food above average. A great place to satisfy your spice cravings.

Was staying nearby and I went in for dinner - I wish I hadn't! The service was very sloppy. No care or consideration. The menu was ok but the food was bland and not great. I'd ordered a chicken tikka starter but the chicken was not breast chicken but leg meat. The main course of chicken jalfrezi asks wasn't good. Poor it's of chicken, not very spicy. Rice was ok. Naan bread was probably the best thing. Give it a miss!

In a lively enough area with lots of options, this looked worth a try. The decor is vintage 1970s, and it was baking hot despite the claim of air con on a sticker in the window. The service was OK - not as brusque as in many Paris restaurants and we paid £80 for 4 currys with a keema nan and two rounds of drinks. Thats pretty cheap. The menu is fairly extensive and the korma and biryani dishes were tasty. You could do a lot worse than dine here. I cant claim it was very good and average feels a bit harsh. So glad to find a place in Paris with good food and service at a reasonable price! I had chicken korma - it was moist and tender. The sauce was delicious. My friend had prawn tikka. A generous serve with a sauce on the side. The cheese naan bread was also tasty. We were given papadums and a serve of lime pickles, tamarind sauce and mint yoghurt. All delicious. A bottle of coke was only 3 euros and a half bottle of a very nice Bordeaux was 10,5 Euros. The service was cheerful and friendly.While the decor may have been a little over the top for some- lots of maroon velvet and carved teak- the food was excellent and in my opinion that's what counts.

Nous étions seuls dans le restaurant(!). La nappe de notre table et celle de la table d'à côté étaient recouvertes de taches de sauce et de gras. Les services étaient sales. Le plat contenant la viande était noire de restes carbonisés dus à des passages multiples au four. Les viandes étaient manifestement de vieilles viandes réchauffées, donc beaucoup trop cuites, certains morceaux étaient noirs car trop grillés. Aucun met n'était fraîchement cuit. La glace du dessert était vieille et sans goût, mes litchees sortaient d'une boîte de conserve (je l'ai vu) recouverts d'un sirop sans goût. Nous avons été très décus, d'autant plus que nous avions fait confiance aux commentaires de la Fourchette....

Salle kitsch sombre toute en longueur, meubles et chaises passablement usés. Le service est assez rapide (il faut dire qu'il n'y avait que 2 tables occupées...) et correct (c'est à dire poli, pas franchement souriant mais pas désagréable non plus). Quant à la nourriture, que dire, sinon que c'est très très médiocre... Les beignets pris en entrée étaient imbibés d'huile, on ne savait même pas quels étaient les légumes à l'intérieur... J'ai pris un biryani (mon plat indien favori). Il ne présentait aucun intérêt, du riz très (trop ?) cuit, des légumes fades et sans goût. La raïta qui l'accompagnait était liquide et avec des carottes râpées. Les naans étaient très bons. Le poulet tandoori était... Visualizza piatti
