"Ate here one night as we were staying very near to Place du Parlement and worked our way around over the 4 days! This was by far the best. Basque inspired food which was a change from the standard bistro/brasserie fare. The cochon noir was to die for. We all had the 3 course formule menu and left well satisfied from the generous portions!"

Ate 2-course plat du jour for 14 EUR with very delicious squid appetizer and grilled meat main. What I like about this restaurant is the friendly service. That deserves some good tip.

Place du Parlement is a very nice spot to dine on a warm summer evening. The ambience of the square is charming. We had a lovely meal and were well supported by our English speaking waiter.

Chez jean is located on cosy square the Place du Parlement. We had lunch and coffee on Chez jean. The food was enjoyable and hearty. The waiters friendly and polite. Recommendable restaurant.

We are here on a recent trip to Bordeaux. The male staff were surly but the female staff were very friendly and helpful so we split the difference on the review. Food was decent and the prices were reasonable. The wine we had by the glass was mediocre considering it's in the heart of wine country.

Awesome food and Awesome service at an affordable price. Me and my 2 friends shared a pork dish a fish dish and 2 entrees (appitizers) as well as a bottle of wine. All were very tasty and well prepared and came to less than 100 euros. I'm still here and will probably go back for a good meal before I leave.
