Very authentic place. From the ordering machine to the counter and the courts. Has been very nicely advised and cannot complain about the service. Food was excellent!

Very Japanese restaurant, not sushi, not a hot plate, but solid and very affordable home cooking in an atmosphere as you find it in Tokyo in the appropriate locals. Gyudon or Curry from 3.50.

Das Essen war sehr lecker und sehr toll angerichtet. Besonders kann ich die Ramen empfehlen. Ich kommen gerne wieder. Eine kleine Anregung würde ich gerne geben. Die Toiletten waren bedauerlicherweise sehr unordentlich und etwas heruntergekommen. Wenn dies noch behoben wird, dann gibt es nicht zu beanstanden.

Chibi-ya is a small bistro with Japanese courts founded from a student initiative. You can also see that the prices are cheap, the staff are young and uncomplicated. The map is small but fine and if necessary you will also receive information about the Japanese national cuisine. The dishes offered are consistently delicious and of good quality. I wish you a bigger map and a bit faster service, but I am very confident that this will come with the years. Go!

Wir hatten Glück an einem Samstag ohne Reservierung einen Tisch zu zweit zu bekommen. Durch die offene Küche ist es sehr warm. Insgesamt entspricht das Ambiente aber der Vorstellung von einem japanischen Schnellrestaurant. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Das Essen kam sehr schnell und war sehr lecker. Es gibt ausreichend vegane Optionen und bei den Hauptgerichten verschiedene Größen zur Auswahl. Ich hatte das Kimchi und ein kleines veganes Gemüse -Curry. Mein Partner ein mittleres Curry mit Hackfleisch.

The kitchen bar fits very well to the ambience. The ordering machine is also caracteristic for Japan. The quality of food can only be good reports. Taste and a growing selection of typical Japanese home cooking leave nothing to be desired. Also highly recommended are the many small events that the Chibiya organizes. Unfortunately, the handling of guests is very impersonal and cold. Since hospitality is an important trademark for Japan, the Chibiya has to work on it. Also the price-performance ratio is too expensive for some menus (before all you pay extra for every small thing).

We have a potential for Japanese culture, of course it doesn't matter that we continue to search for Japanese restaurants on holiday. Chibi ya probably surprised us because it is relatively unusual. Instead of ordinary sushi there are knights, Donburi and Curry. These saturated and varied dishes are available everywhere in small restaurants in Japan. The Chibiy ya is such a small restaurant, the place is limited, the tables are small and are nearby, you must like that because you almost inevitably come closer to your table neighbors.
