The pub is fantastic for dog owners with a diverse menu. The food was delicious and we left satisfied. We definitely plan on coming back.

Went for a walk along the disused railway and stumbled across the Roebuck. Friendly service, superb food and good coffees. Worth popping in if passing.

The Roebuck is a lovely cosy pub with a relaxed atmosphere. On the 3rd Tuesday of every month Southern Swing play big band music there. Good food and a selection of real ales.

So much of an improvement since previous landlady Sarah tried to promote Eastern European sausage rubbish. When she realised people didn't like her fayre she moved on. Now new Landlord serves good food and some lovely beers

My mother and I had a lovely Mother's Day lunch at this restaurant today. The staff were friendly and attentive, the food was delicious, and they were very welcoming to my young children and my mother's dogs. We also appreciated how well-maintained the garden was. The free glass of prosecco they gave us for Mother's Day was a nice and unexpected touch.

We visited here despite a daming write up in the local paper. You can never trust the media! This same paper gave the Bridge Tavern in old portsmouth a 5 star rating. We went there with friend and it was a total disaster. Anyway, Barry and Dave gave us a warm welcome as did there staff.
