"made to wait 45 mins to check in they dont do food any more so ignore most of the other profile pictures then presented with a tiny room, nothing like the photos online, and the bathroom was disgusting. absolutely filthy! the bed springs kept me awake most of the night told they were fully booked but there was no one else at breakfast and no one else moved past my door at any point from 4am onwards. June 2023: The Church House is currently closed. Its future is uncertain, but there are indications that it may undergo some renovations and reopen. Location rating: 5.

A fab locals pub at good prices but it isn't catered for tourists. It looks very old fashioned, the paint is peeling and the toilets were up kept. It needs a bit of love. But a great cheaper locals pub if that's what you're looking for!

Great cosy setting. Been a few times now and had roasts and pizzas, all very tasty and nice food. Staff are friendly and polite. My children played darts and pool the staff were very accommodating. Have been back a few times now and will continue to return.

Used to be a great pub with fantastic pub grub, staff and atmosphere. Used to be great for families, walkers and locals. Now it's just a cheap drinking place that smells. Unfortunately, The Church House Inn has permanently closed its doors. Despite this, they accepted a reservation and payment for a room from a family member of mine who was visiting from overseas. Discovering that the accommodation was closed after arriving at 8 PM on a Sunday following a long flight was far from ideal. I just hope they are able to recover their money. Rooms: 1, Service: 1, Location: 5.
