"I really want to thank Gabriele and her husband for the good hospitality and excellent food. We stayed in Spalt for the Spielwarenmesse and have eaten with them about 5 times. It feels like if you are eat in their own kitchen and enough diversity on the menu to eat every day a nice meal. Like the delicious pizza, very nice lasagna, spaghetti carbonara and the pollo al Capone. Hope to see you next year."

I really want to thank Gabriele and her husband for the good hospitality and excellent food. We stayed in Spalt for the Spielwarenmesse and have eaten with them about 5 times. It feels like if you are eat in their own kitchen and enough diversity on the menu to eat every day a nice meal. "Wir waren an einem lauen Sommerabend unterwegs und dachten, wir gehen ins Blumenthal. Bis zu diesem Zeitpunkt wurde das Restaurant hoch gelobt, was sich für uns aber komplett anders darstellte. Wir hatten noch einen Gutschein, den wir einlösen wollten...Wo wir angekommen sind, auf der Terrasse, weit und breit kein Kellner... warteten ca. 5 Minuten... sind dann ins Restaurant reingegangen und wurden gelangweilt von einer Bedienung empfangen (auf die Art, was wollen Sie den jetzt) es war ca. 19.30 Uhr, sagten, wir haben einen Gutschein und wollten etwas essen. Daraufhin sagte Sie, oh ein Gutschein... dann haben wir NUR NOCH diese Karte, eine kleine Karte mit ein paar überschaubaren Gerichten...Sagte uns nicht zu, wollten was richtiges Essen...haben noch nach der großen Karte gefragt...Die gibt es heute nicht mehr...Wurden nicht mal verabschiedet....Sowas ist Traurig für so ein Restaurant so einen Service zu bieten.... Bewertung UNGENÜGEND"

"we were at the end of Sept.2020 in the jägerhof for dinner. the environment resembled a big mensa. It was so loud that we couldn't talk at the table. everywhere was spoken very loud and even in corona times. the restaurant was too narrow. the distance of 1.5 m was observed in the rule only to ask in the service whether it could at least do something against the loud scream, told me that it could not forbid the guests. we are on holiday in the brombachsee, but we are no longer in this place family rebmann"

"Von außen unscheinbar aber innen eine interessante und gelungene Mischung aus Tradition und Moderne. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und unauffällig (positiv gemeint). Das Essen ist einfach eine Wucht. Sehr, sehr schmackhaft, ordentliche Portionen und das zu einem angemessenen Preis. Wenn wir wieder in der Nähe sind kommen wir bestimmt wieder. Die Saarländer. Price per person: €30–40"

"Sauber wars. Das Wars. Nicht zu empfehlende Unterkunft. Leider war alles rund um den Brombachsee ausgebucht. Daher sind wir leider hier gelandet. Unser Zimmer roch bei unserer Ankunft muffig. Um fair zu sein, sei an dieser Stelle gesagt dass unser Zimmer sauber war. Sämtlichem Personal fehlt die Begabung den Gästen das Gefühl zu vermitteln willkommen zu sein. Wir hatten 2 Übernachtungen mit Frühstück gebucht. Am ersten morgen lief die Bedienung mehrmals ohne Maske wir befinden uns aktuell in einer Pandemie!! durch den Service Bereich. Den Jungen Inhaber haben wir ebenfalls immer ohne Schutz durchs Hotel laufen sehen. Kein Gast wurde, zumindest während unseres Aufenthaltes, auf die Hygienevorschriften aufmerksam gemacht, dieser diese, aktuell notwendigen Maßnahmen nicht einhält.Vielleicht ist dies auch nur eine Momentaufnahme aber wir werden diese Unterkunft nicht weiter empfehlen."

"Well, we were there to test it out, then we waited almost 40 minutes for the menu, 20 minutes for our order to be taken and the big deal was a 58 minute wait for the food to arrive! Sorry the constant “busy going on today” really doesn’t make it any better. Food was ok, but unfortunately the overall impression left its mark. Then the fussing about whatever when I came to pay did the rest for me. Either we can get it under control or the place will close shortly."
