"quirky small place with a proud hull heritage. nostalgic music from the 50s and a full atmosphere. eating is homemade and there is a lot of choice. we had a afternoon tea for 2 £6 per and it was delish! fresh bread and high quality ingredients. the dead had to die, and the owner and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. can not wait for a return next week and would tell them all very well, do they please one and stop them for a great eating experience."

Fab place friendly staff, loved the high tea and the grandchildren loved the jacket potatoes with cheese and beans the cherry bakewell cake was lovely and great coffee. Definitely the place to visit X

A super friendly cafe that serves excellent drinks and food cooked to order. Lovely atmosphere and always made welcome. Not expensive and well worth a visit. Wish we loved closer, would be our regular meeting place.

10 out of 10 just popped in for first time ever coffee n cake delish ; full of hullish quotes table service fab . YOU must try this place i pass it all the time and never stopped by .. until today.What a gem of a place xx keep doing what your'e doing x

The staff are really nice and the cafe is so clean and the best till last the food is to die for freshly prepared and professionally prepared and cooked and the cakes you will lick the plate clean,the coffee is brilliant not weak but a really good roast so give em a try

this is a crisp little coffee shop of the coffee and eating are excellent. the music that never fails to tip my foot and the little dirt on the wall never fail to let me smile .well done to debbie and her personal always very friendly and friendly. I wouldn't go anywhere else. good a visit worth or 3

I just wanted to big up Coffee 31 in the city centre again. They made my day yesterday when I found out that they serve black pudding! Cue one absolutely amazing bacon, sausage and black pudding sandwich. Great food, great staff and great music. If you've not been then get down there over the weekend (at the side of the old BHS building). Superb local business!
