Lovely place, lovely staff. Great food and coffee. I highly recommend this place for lunch or just hot drinks.

very friendly, relaxed atmosphere. great place to sit near the university and work when the library is not for them. eating is excellent and affordable. coffee is also great, with various gast beans so often. can not recommend very enough.

My favourite Belfast coffee shop! Coffee and food are great and staff are friendly. Common Grounds has a really nice atmosphere. At certain times of the day it can get quite busy, but that's such a small thing compared to how much I like this place that it still gets five stars.

Everytime I come here, I promise myself that I'll try something other than their delicious Yum Bowl. But it's just so good, I can't help myself and I reorder it everytime! It's a lovely wee cafe with good coffee, delicious cakes, big portions of tasty soup, and simple decor that creates a cosy atmosphere. The people who run it are people with a mission: it is a meeting place for many activists, and foodbank collections take place there every week on Wednesdays.

Today I had the best coffee I’ve ever tasted and if that wasn’t enough, the staff of common grounds were all the most wonderful people who will go out of their way to ensure you have the best possible experience while you visit. It is clear to see the love that the staff have for this café, as soon as you enter you can almost feel the happy vibes that radiate from each member of staff. The yum bowl is precise in its name as it is YUMMY, definitely recommend trying it!! I can’t wait for my next visit to common grounds (which will be very soon) for another great experience.

After a long night of travel without much sleep, we arrived at our hotel in Belfast and were directed to this restaurant for a quick bite before exploring the city. Initially, the staff behind the counter seemed a bit unfriendly and unhelpful, perhaps due to our unfamiliarity with the local cuisine. However, we quickly moved past that and enjoyed some coffee and snacks to hold us over until dinner.
