"Having lived in this wonderful city for a year, it seems odd that burgers, chips and other great inventions such as the loaded hot dog, chicken and waffles, pulled pork burritos and seitan burgers are not really being cooked with any consistent appreciation or quality in a city that loves its belly. True, one might never need stray from the home base that is the ubiquitous and eternal pizza and pasta which I assume is what they serve in heaven (watch the 2 popes for further evidence). However, what Marco is doing at Coney Island deserves recognition, as it is fresh (I believe nearly everything comes from the nearby Mercato Trionfale which is probably the best fresh food market in town), cooked with love and, let's face it, Marco is just a great guy! His fries are especially good, thin, a little crispy but still with a fluffy middle, and I particularly look forward to chicken and waflles (but ring ahead if you want this as he sometimes needs time to get the ingredients to you). But isn't that the essence of great street food, not only the food but creating a vibe and a relationship with the customer, so nothing is wasted and everyone, including the planet, wins? In an age where the Billionaires of the world are deciding to leave us to our fate and find other lifeforms in the universe to massage their egos, it makes me feel good that Coney Island is 2 metro stops and a Whatsapp message away. Forget about your troubles and stop by for an hour!"

Sono un cliente abituale di questo posto veramente unico. I panini sono eccellenti, le patatine fritte al platano assolutamente imperdibili e gli onion rings migliori di Roma. Il proprietario Marco è una persona meravigliosa, per la sua simpatia e professionalità.

We've found this place after we've fed it, pasta and pizza don't stop haha. It was an absolute joy! The food was simply delicious and the location is cozy and cool. Actually, I would give more stars if I could. How many reviews state, the owner is wonderful and they are right. I recommend going to this place!

Small place from the main road, but WELL WORTH to go there. We had a bacon burger and animal style pommes.... JA ANINAL STYLE FRIES!!! It has been more than 5 years since I was able to eat real animals style fries like at home and the taste was incredible. Everything was so fresh and delicious. The owner is super and extremely personal. Great experience, great food and will be back before we leave rome!!

Mio marito ed io abbiamo gustato deliziosi cheeseburgers e patatine fritte, una piacevole alternativa alla pasta e alla pizza dopo quasi una settimana a Roma. Tutti i cibi sono stati preparati freschi davanti a noi, il proprietario ci ha detto che tutti gli ingredienti provengono dal mercato Trionfale, e ciò si riflette nella qualità del cibo, era davvero squisito. Prezzi anche molto buoni. Il ristorante si trova vicino al Vaticano, perfetto per chi si trova a Prati. Il proprietario è anche una persona molto simpatica, sicuramente visitate questo posto se volete mangiare un ottimo burger a Roma.

My sister and I stumbled across this small eatery on our last night in Italy. We only had 13 euros in cash between the two of us. Unfortunately, their credit card machine was down and most of the other restaurants near us closed early on Sunday. Upon seeing us struggled on figuring out what we can order with our pitiful amount of money, the owner/chef kindly offered us a discount. He made us two big burgers and even gave us a bottle of water (water is never free in Europe)for only 13 euros! That is about 40% discount! We lived in America and we had to say the burger is one of the best we have ever had. The bun was nicely toasted. There was just the right amount of sauces so there is no juice...
