Amazing lunch with friends, all our choices were delicious (7 small plates between 3 of us plus 2 puddings), homemade interesting soft drinks were a treat with 2 of us being pregnant and service was great as usual.

A lovely place to sit outside on a sunny day in a very nice up and coming and interesting area of Newcastle. We shared a selection of small plates, All were very well presented and a good enough size to share. Good selection of drinks...also laid back but efficient service .

Interesting menu, interesting wines, some wins-the cauliflower dish excellent, as well as the trout. I found the soused mackerel too acidic and the lamb belly ribs tricky to eat- a little tough and the fat not rendered enough. In comparison with our disappointing House of...Tides experience, however, I would definitely eat here and recommend to others

We booked an 11.45 table having loved brunch here before. Daughter I were happy with the choices but son was much more enamoured with the lunch menu which started at 12. No problems at all to order our brunch items but delay them ..serve with his lunch choice. Overnight oats, pancakes with maple pears veggie curry all absolutely delicious, great coffee too. Highly recommend!

Decided to break the diet and book ourselves in for brunch after a hectic few days best decision of the week! We were one of the of the first customers but there was a steady stream of others behind us and before long the...restaurant was full with only an odd table free outside. The service was spot on, attentive without being obtrusive and the atmosphere on the whole was very relaxed. I had the spiced pancakes with roast pears in maple syrup and my husband had the bacon sandwich (obviously). Both were large portions and cooked to perfection. Think this may have to be a regular event. Prices were in proportion to size of servings in my opinion.

nice venue, underlying decor and the staff were efficient, friendly and inconsistent. overall our experience was ok, the wee was decent, but really eating was very disappointing. in previous reviews we expected that we were woven, but that was not the case. from the five we ordered, only one of them was very good. the lamb ribs with white beans that I had for my head were dreadful, no sose or jus to help matters, only a large part of over dry meat (the fat was completely made out) and some brewed white beans that had the dryness and texture of the school-seed pease pudding and stuck at the dach of my mouth. extraordinarily slandered prices. the Tempura-Kauliflower was as disappointing as the...

Came for dinner and the place was busy and had a good buzz. We were greeted and seated quickly and throughout the night all the staff were attentive and friendly.
