We placed our order at around 6:20 pm as we had an event to attend. Unfortunately, our food did not arrive until 7:00 pm. We were close to leaving without eating, not because of the waiting staff but because the service was disappointingly slow.

I saw the steak and wine deal on Groupon which looked great value for money, Cooks definitely didn't disappoint! My friends and I had a great meal and only paid for a second round of drinks and dinner for the wee one. We will definitely be back.

My daughter had bought a groupon voucher for me and my mum for mother's day. It was the steak dinner and wine for two. It was absolutely amazing. The steak was done to a t. Chicken ballotine and pepper sauce was good but the vegetables were a disgrace; tinned peas YES tinned peas...three shavings of carrot, an off cut of courgette and spoonful of mash The venue is fine , the service is efficient but cold and not attentive I would not return here and therefore I would not recommend eating here.

this was a last minute booking so we were happy to get a table. the group was me, my man and our two enkels, who eat as adult. the staff was very nice and friendly and the food was good. the service was extremely bad. it took forever to get drinks and no one came back to ask us if we wanted more to call a waitress. waiting for the food was even longer. we sat at 6.15 and received our starters after 45 minutes. the main course lasted another 45 minutes. we have not ordered desserts, because we could only not see ourselves faced with a longer waiting. we are not going back.

I was disappointed as I had booked a table for me and my mum on mother’s day, our table was booked at 5pm therefore that was the time we arrived, once seated we ordered our drinks and food at the same time, our food was ordered off a set menu and we both just ordered main meals, we didn’t receive our food until 6.30 just over an hour after we had ordered which I felt was way too long as did my mum, the table behind us had been in since 4.15 and they got serverd AFTER us! And again they had picked off the set menu, they had 2 kids with them that by this point we’re hungry bored and restless, the food was good but hard to enjoy after waiting that lengh of time and the atmosphere not being idea...
