Cote Brasserie Richmond

We have lovely evening. But don't understand why you accept only card payment? Is there new law in this country?

Lovely evening meal yesterday with a couple of good friends. The reason for this review is to give our server, Chris, a big shout out. He was attentive without being intrusive, warmly welcoming, and made the whole evening very special for us.

What attracts us to Cote is that it is consistently pretty good. Our first visit to Cote Richmond but as usual more than happy with food, service and value. Our mains, Mussels and Breton Chicken both pretty good. Ok it’s not high end dining but certainly one of the better national high st restaurant brands. Visualizza piatti

My wife and spent our 58th Wedding Anniversary here for a light lunch today via the set menu and we were not disappointed, The food was beautifully cooked and hot, The staff could not have been more helpful and attentive even thought it was busy for a Monday lunchtime, They even sent us a free sharing Pudding when they found out it was our anniversary, What's not to like, We will be back.

Give Laimonas a raise. He was amazing at his job and very helpful and friendly. Richmond Côte brasserie is very nice because of this amazing man. Other than him, the place is nicely decorated, the service is great and the food, no matter what you order, will taste amazing. Laimonas is the best thing to even do with a restaurant ever. We had a table of 26 people and everyone was delighted by him.

Me and my partner ordered our meal myself 10oz rib eye and my partner Tomato Tarte Fine. We ordered our drinks as well at the same time. As I finished pouring my drink our food arrived. The rib eye was warm at best and my partners food was poorly presented and looked no better than a sliced tomato on RIVTA bread. The frites are no more than those from McDs. So this was my first and certainly my last visit to this over priced and rather dirty establishment. Also the toilets could be better kept clean. We have been customers of Cote for almost 13 years, sadly we won’t be going back. The restaurant was half empty (Wednesday night) but the waiting staff still couldn’t cope. They are bunch of young charming people but that doesn’t hide their lack of knowledge or experience. They were running around like headless chickens…. Our main course was lukewarm, our dessert on the other hand was microwaved and boiling hot but the most worrying was my husband being ill on the way back home, and believe me he is not somebody who gets sick easily. Really not worth going back unless something is done to improve the standard of food or service.

Being critical, decor wasn’t entirely to my taste, but still a pleasant environment. HOWEVER, the quality simply shone through! Visited with my wife, and we both had different mains and desserts, so 4 plates of food, and every one of them exceptional! Frankly couldn’t believe this was a chain! Desserts clearly made on site, rather than brought In as with most chains. I had fish, cooked to perfection, the accompanying veg was varied and again beautifully done, sauté potatoes just so, the sauce served with it superb! A fabulous plate of food. Monday 27th March. Wanted a nice meal before the theatre and Chose Cote Brasserie. On entering the welcome was kirt and shown to the table. We sat reading menu for some time , had decided and still waited for any interaction from staff. As time was ebbing away I called a member of staff and ordered both drinks and our meal. Drinks came and eventually the starters. Mushrooms on soggy toast. We ate and waited. Other diners who roughly ordered the same time as us were into their mains by this time. We waited until others had finished before I called a member of staff to explain why our food was taking so long, he promptly arrived with our food with no explanation just 2 plates of overcooked and...
