"Le Jardin de Berne is undoubtedly our favorite Michelin-starred restaurant for 2024. We were expecting friendly Provençal cuisine, but this dinner went well above our expectations. Louis Rameau's cuisine is infinitely precise, tasty and sincere. This dinner (October 2024) at the Michelin-starred restaurant of the Château de Berne (where we had an excellent stay) was truly a memorable experience, surpassing all our expectations. As soon as we arrived, we were seduced by the exceptional setting: nestled in the heart of the Provencal vineyards, this place exudes elegance and serenity. The view is splendid, and the decor refined and refined. The dining room team was able to welcome us with professionalism and delicacy (a constant during this meal) and every detail of the service is thought of to make us feel privileged. Thanks to them. In terms of cuisine, Louis Rameau offers a true ode to Provence. Each dish highlights local and seasonal products, sublimated with remarkable creativity. The cuisine is frank, direct without ever betraying the essence of Provençal flavors. And the balance of textures and tastes on each plate is perfectly mastered. What we liked was the readability of the plates. No frills here, what is announced is found on the plate and in the mouth. It’s frank, delicate and without unnecessary pretentious folklore around. Huge favorite for the trout poached in olive oil mushroom gnocchi (a marvel of sweetness), the leek cooked twice with anchovies (divine) and the remarkable olive dessert from pastry chef Eric Raynal , high-flying! The menu/card presented to you is in itself a very beautiful object which highlights all the values of the house. A unique, sincere and very appreciable approach. From the ceramist responsible for tableware, to the Provençal producers/suppliers, to the market gardening approach of the house, their production of cheese, honey... the emphasis is on the good, the local, the virtuous. No wonder the restaurant also won a green macaron, demonstrating a committed and responsible approach to gastronomy. Also worth mentioning is the very fine wine list, which obviously gives pride of place to local wines. And thank you to the sommelier for her very good suggestion. In short, this restaurant is much more than a simple meal, it is an immersion in the Provençal art of living, enhanced by an enchanting setting and high-end cuisine. An essential address for gastronomy lovers looking for authenticity and refinement. And without a doubt, soon to be double-starred (it would be more than deserved). We left the Château de Berne enchanted and impatient to return for a new culinary discovery."

"We decided to have dinner on Jan 2 in Lorgues, which was not an easy task as most of the restaurants are either closed for the winter or simply closed on a tuesday. We found Les Planches and we were not disappointed. The food was delicious and the service very friendly. It was a bit cold in the tent outside but they provided us with blankets. We ordered veal kidneys, a steak and a grilled dorade. Each of the plates was elegantly dressed and tasted very good. We will definitely recommend this to our friends and guests. Btw, the prices were very moderate for this location."

"petite sandwicherie / pizzeria de village, très basique !désagréable experience pour nous !.. le 15 mai une brocante se deroule juste devant le pâte à pat, et pourtant les patrons qui ont un nombre de tables restreint , refusent de faire de la vente à emporter (chose qu'ils font toute l'année) bon nombres de clients sont refusés et sur la carte une garniture de pizza (fruits de mer) annoncée "uniquement le weekend" n'est pas dispo. hors, nous sommes Dimanche !!!quand on travail dans la restauration, qui plus est, sur la place du village ou une grande brocante est prévue de longue date, si on ne peu pas augmenter le nombre de tables, on annule pas la vente à emporter et on se débrouille pour n'avoir aucun manque sur sa carte se jour là !ou bien, on a pas envie de travailler, alors on ferme et on va chiner à la brocante...."

"Great disappointment last night. We relied on the opinions and good apreciations, but last night we wiped the plasters of the new card. And there's great disappointment. Especially on the poorly presented cute net and big piece of meat in the flavorless plate, lack of sauce...quant to banana dessert, pieces of bread dipped in a Bof cream. Two years ago at our first visit we were satisfied. But that's a shame. It was a failure."

"We went to lunch on Sunday with my daughter. The menu of the day: Risotto with mushrooms and small peas hyper creamy chips of generous parmesan intake. Pinegrass with fresh crunchy vegetables and roasted chicken apples. Burned cream and tiramisu for dessert. Just a flat: the corsé juice is excellent but tends to crush the rest there are everywhere and too. Excellent price ratio. Come on, everything is homemade and cooking is perfectly mastered. Nice discovery."
