"Outstanding restaurant! Would highly recommend paying a visit! Food was great, service was excellent and has a very friendly atmosphere! We came over from hereford and it was well worth the journey,we will definitely be paying frequent visits. We had Alice's smokey stew and dumplngs, Mung bean curry, caramelised plantain, and a chocolate delight, everything was cooked perfectly with beautiful flavours, left us feeling happy and full! We really can't pour enough praise on Karibu, perfect experience in every way! Thank you for everything!"

"Stayed overnight with dinner and breakfast the following morning. Lovely friendly welcome on arrival and a fabulously quirky room in the roof space. Dinner was delicious as was the accompanying beer and wine. The following morning and it would have been rude not to have the full English. Another delicious meal and set us up for the day. Chef and Mrs Chef run a great pub/restaurant with rooms. Why stay in a boring modern box when there is somewhere like this to stay."

"Fantastic evening meal here, food , ambience and service were great. Highly advise booking in advance, I've not seen many restaurants where people are prepared to queue... "I’m very disappointed by your staff name YAN . I was in your restaurant last year . She serve me and my wife well . Very polite . So we decided to book a table for coming Friday while I’m in Gloucester . I rang and spoke to YAN yesterday . As usual very friendly , I told her i need a corner table and she said the restaurant is busy that day which I said it’s fine any table . I also request for 7 pm but again she said can I come 6.45pm which I’m fine too . she took all my detail which I’m happy . BUT she is a FAKER before she hang up the phone she spoke in her language with someone or she just speaking to herself . didn’t even realised I haven’t hung my phone off . I have an Asian Chinese client in the same car !!! Which understand what she said . She was saying we are very fxxcking troublesome . How could she be so FAKE OMG me and wife just cannot believe that what she said !! She is very good at acting . I was telling everyone how good she is but a damm NO . Please cancel my table we will go somewhere else . This doesn’t end here I’m going to post this incident wherever I can . Me and my wife felt very disappointed by this . FAKER YAN shame on you ."
