We ordered take away one Sunday evening and found the food to be excellent. The restaurant itself was busy with families and the staff friendly and efficient. The Dahl and chicken durpiaza were really good. A very good option if you want a night off from cooking or don’t fancy pub grub.

Our first mistake was deciding to walk into a completely empty Resturaunt. Thing just got worse. Worst Indian experience ever. They even tried to rip us off with the bill. When we asked for a receipt things got very awkward. The best part was trying to have a conversation whilst listening to the horrendous snoring from the manager. You couldn’t write this nightmare. Yet again we had a delicious curry, my husband ate every mouthful because it was so delicious even though he was stuffed! The service is second to none and we will be going again soon. I will suggest though as a non meat eater could they use fresh veg in the curry instead of frozen mixed veg and maybe add some nuts or something for a bit of texture? but my vegetable curry was still delicious and was thoroughly enjoyed!!!

Poor Poor Service !!!! Ordered takeaway at 6.20 to be ready for 7.30, arrived on time, was told another 15m...went back in after 20m (just to be one safe side)...told another 10-20m.... still wasn’t ready on time Sadly, I was informed by my partner that this isn’t uncommon and that a few friends have said they have waited anything up to an extra hour. Food is ok so it’s a shame but won’t be back can’t be dealing with bad service!!

We have been patrons for some 16 yrs now and until the end of lockdown no complaints at all However since then the ingredients are cheap and substandard the food is rarely ready on time and not once in four visits has the order been correct the customer service when something his wrong is appalling and they actually don’t care. I used to live near Crediton many years ago and when in the area I usually have a meal here. Popped in on a Friday at about 6 pm, it was quiet and they obviously do a good take away trade. Saying that the food was excellent and the server was pleasant and efficient. Regarding the food, it was very good and was well cooked with the right amount of spices. Good value, about half that I would pay in London. Sorry to see sone negative reviews and based on what we had were not justified.

I have had takeaways from here before and eaten in and had no problems with the food until my takeaway prawn balti last night. Unfortunately, it was probably the worst takeaway curry I’ve ever eaten and to be honest, I could have made a better one myself. The rice was undercooked, the curry sauce was very watery and the prawns were overcooked. The sauce just tasted like salty water with a teaspoon of curry powder in it and even the naan bread didn’t taste like naan. My husband said his lamb dansak wasn’t that nice either. I usually write good reviews for places but when I’m paying over £21 for a takeaway, I would like to enjoy it.

Well this place is hard to review !! First the service not the best Ive had . Polite and very friendly but not attentive at all we had to ask for everything. You need to up your game guys we had empty plates sat on our table way to long had to ask for drinks and were only given 1 menu to share. Please note we were the only diners in the restaurant.Now the food the pakoras were very bland and the onion bahjis were over cooked and crunchy thats the negative the currys were next level very very tasty smooth and well spiced . The currys were superb but im guessing your service possibly puts people off. Me personally its worth putting up with for for such good curry . Visualizza piatti
