I had a cozy lunch with delicious food. I loved the mushroom soup and toasties. The service was excellent. This is a great spot for a lunchtime meal. The prices range from £10 to £20 per person. I would give the food, service, and atmosphere all a rating of 5 out of 5.

The Bakehouse is a fantastic place to come for a meal or just a bit of tea and cake. The food is so delicious and always prepared and presented beautifully. And of course, the staff are wonderful! The squash soup at this restaurant is absolutely delicious, and the houmous is incredible. The chunky chips are also perfect. The atmosphere is great, with a friendly and cosy environment. There is a "sharing table" and a real neighborhood feeling. The main door has a small 2cm step, but there is wheelchair accessibility through a side door that leads to a long ramp, providing step-free access to the downstairs seating and toilets. Upstairs, there is a step, but the toilet is spacious.

As first-time visitors, we were impressed by the relaxed and cozy atmosphere of this restaurant. The venue is larger than it appears from the outside, with a charming dining room in the rear that features a cozy fireplace for colder days. I ordered a jacket potato with crunchy coleslaw, roasted vegetables, and blue cheese, and I was pleasantly surprised by how well it was cooked and presented. I paired my meal with a glass of merlot and thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. This restaurant truly delivers value for money, and I highly recommend it to others.

We stopped in Cullompton on our way elsewhere so that we could have a leg stretch after a long journey. After a walk around the town we saw The Bakehouse and being dog friendly decided to pop in. Friendly service and great atmosphere we decided to have something to eat as well as a drink. An americano and a luxury hot chocolate, with the hot chocolate actually being hot unlike so many places where it is lukewarm and you end up finishing it two minutes later. This was creamy and a good helping of marshmallows! We then ordered a bakehouse toastie consisting of cheddar and mozzarella with hogs bottom tomato and red onion chutney.
