"The Crêperie Morel (Ty Krampouz) is an institution in Paimpol. It has been there for decades. In the evening, it opens at 19:00 and gets quickly full of customers, so it is probably better to book your table in advance.That said, you might want to consider other options. Quick service certainly is a plus, but you go there to enjoy great crêpes, right? After all, this is Brittany. And this precisely is the problem.I started with a Paimpolaise-onions (i.e a Complète tomatoes onions.) All the ingredients were there. But this is all I can say. Then I had a crêpe stuffed with apples and topped with Calvados (flambée): that one was really disappointing. If you cannot find butter in a crêpe, then it is not a crêpe. You should not have to ask for it. It is a prime component. Absolutely compulsory. YOU ARE IN BRITTANY, FOR GOD’S SAKE!I have been to Morel many times in more than fifty years. I kept going even after quality started to deteriorate. Easy Italian place to take kids for lunch around the Institut PasteurPastas were very tasty and the thin crust pizzas were kid-friendly.

We went there twice in a row during our stay in Paimpol. The price quality ratio is excellent and fast service. The cakes and pancakes are very good. Besides, they don't hesitate to put the cover back where the other restaurants are full and tell you to go see elsewhere. To discover without hesitation.

3 weeks of professional travel and we quickly put our bags in this hotel noon and evening! Copious meals, very correct price, high-end service, courteous and fast. Very good atmosphere, personal and very smiling and friendly bosses. They took over the case a month ago. Anyway, it's gonna work for them, probably.

Very good! We have lunch this noon, the cakes and pancakes are very good. We were with our 2-year-old daughter and the whole team was adorable, all smiling and very good service! There is a currency table upstairs and it’s very good because many restaurants don’t have one. We'll be back. Thank you for your welcome!

From 12:15 on market day, we were offered a terrace table for 3 the dog. Apéro toutou without asking, thank you boss! A room manager who manages the 'affluence and the control always with humour, bravo boss! And of course, excellent cuisine and at a more than reasonable price in the middle of the season! Don't hesitate to go! We'll be back!

I went here for lunch my first day in Paimpol and it was so good, I went back a few days later right before I caught the train back to Paris. I had crepes both times, both delicious. My partner had crepes the first time and the fish of the day the second time, also good. A great way to spend a sunny afternoon, on their patio, eating authentic Breton galettes!

Last visited here 2 years ago with family and 3 local friends plus their dog (dog friendly) we sat upstairs on that occasion and all meals were great. Went again on a Thursday night at 8.15pm when it was a lot quite maybe 3 other couples in. My sister Cath and brother's girlfriend Sue had crepes with ham mushroom cheese and bechemal sauce, and brother had the beef and I had lamb chops of which there were 4 accompanied by very nice green beans, and salad and fries. We had the usual yummy bread and butter to accompany it.
