"I have to say that I learned an important lesson having booked and stayed in this hotel always check exactly where it is! The photo made the hotel look charming and very much part of a town. It is actually located in in a commercial shopping area. Don't expect to be able to walk into town and have a wander there really is no centre as such. But having got over the shock that we had booked for three nights, we did like the place. The rooms were large, clean and well furnished, although one of the rooms had a broken showerhead, which wasn't, despite promises, repaired.The restaurant was fine and we ate well. Breakfast was reasonable too with fresh croissants although the same tired bowl of fruit arrived each morning. We were not quite sure what to make of the hotel manager she veered from charm and warmth to seeming affronted. Fortunately, British ironic humour worked with her generally. Other staff were delightful and couldn't do enough for us. We weren't able to eat at the hotel on Sunday night but found a great restaurant in the commercial centre. It was just sad that we couldn't emerge from that area. Of course it was a very reasonably priced hotel, had a car park and gave us good access to places we wanted to visit in Arras and around. For that reason, I think my overall assessment is fair."

"Located near Bethune, this hotel is an ancient monastery. Parking is available to guests. The welcome is warm at all levels: reception, breakfast room or buffet is well-stocked, bar or passage is essential with a rutilating zinc, a choice of alcoholic drinks or not but mainly furniture, including leather armchairs where you are so seated that you have trouble leaving. Everything breathes the old and, for those who love beautiful furniture, it is a real pleasure. Our room, with air conditioning, was beautiful. For those who are followers of contemporary or pop art, which is not our case, do not come. Beautiful furniture was also present and the bedding was very comfortable. Attached to the room, we had a bathroom with a bath and a shower, two beautiful vasques with a large shelf that allows to store all toilets and toilets. The price quality report was quite reasonable. We'll go back without hesitation."

Despite everything, we wanted to come back today after the periods of containment etc. and what disappointment! not at the level of service but at the level of the kitchen...First of all, the loafers: very mediocre quality (single brioche very dry in particular)... since the rossini burger: a very simplistic presentation, a cheese that arrives melt but not mellow (so that has cooled)"

"Strange, the weekend menu offered on the table is completely different from that displayed on the Web. In addition, the foie gras offered as a starter is replaced by a duck terrine...,...? The service is fast (very), as soon as the customers have left, their table is set for the next day, it is certainly efficient, but it invites you to hurry up. On Sunday lunchtime without service in the evening, there is no fire. That said, the dishes are good and plentiful, this makes up for it."
