"Was visiting the area and this cafe was listing on a top 10 things to do, so was excited when we stumbled on it. That's where the excitement ended. I had the worst avocado and eggs on toast I've ever experienced. How you can mess up smashed avo I don't know, the poached eggs were so over done, and the toast cold and soggy. No one came to check, otherwise, I would have pointed this out. It was dead, so not sure why it was so overdone. Cheap twinnings green tea and chipped mug. All in all an unpleasant experience sadly"

Staff were friendly, and the outdoor setting is nice on a fine day. Limited menu but great smoothies and fresh juices.

Delicious food in a quaint setting in Muswell Hill. We ate the chicken schnitzel burger and bubble and sausage both were very tasty.

Walked in without without having booked. Ordered two eggs benedict and a smoothie. Reasonably priced as well. Service was quick and the food was excellent. Lovely and relaxed atmosphere. Well worth calling in when you are in Muswell Hill.

Always worth a visit to this established place. We sat inside as it was cold. (But there are lots of seats outside). It is a lovely place with a great atmosphere and vibe. The Menu has lots of choice and I could see other tables had many varied meals. Friendly but expert service. Visualizza piatti

I was charged £3.95 for one single tiny shop bought scone with cream and jam ! Insane pricing never coming back here again. I raised this with the waiter he told me had just started working there and there was nothing he could do I asked him to relay my comments to his manager and he told me to do it myself.

This spot is great for so many reasons!! It’s in a beautiful location, the food is fresh and very tasty. We had the chicken burgers, jacket potatoes, sandwiches and a kids meal. The variation in the menu is fantastic. Coffee is particularly excellent, and so much choice when it comes to smoothies and shakes. As for the cakes, homemade and so much choice. Highly recommend

A bit of a strange setting for a restaurant/cafe. It's a bit off putting watching the kitchen through the windows in the courtyard and having to listen to the noise of the chefs. The food was best forgotten, cheap quality items and very bland. Bit of a cheek to charge extras for things like hash browns etc. when these items should be part of breakfast. Definitely better locations for breakfast. Visualizza piatti

I used to be go to crocodile cafe often, however the last few times I have been-and ordered online, has been very disappointing. The bread is the cheapest you can get off the shelf, and beans usually come cold, and the price no longer matches the quality. Their avocado on toast has no flavour whatsoever, and again, does not warrant the price tag. Sadly think I will be going elsewhere in the future.

Went in today for food and drinks as want to help the small business’ but the lady with long black hair and glasses was absolutely rude, not only to the customers but staff to. If the owner wants to keep this business going they either need to send this lady on a people skills and manners course or get someone new in. Will never go back there. Coffee and food was as bad as the customer service there! Disgusting.

"A friend and I stumbled on to this neighbourhood restaurant by chance; no research, no booking, no expectations. We were then blown away by the quality of the food: wonderfully fresh fish, beautifully cooked. The service is also exemplary. I've always enjoyed calamari, but this was by far the best I've ever had: truly succulent and juicy. The mussels were almost as good, and the sea bream kept up the standard. The spiced quince with ice cream made a nice change from baclava in a Turkish restaurant (they still threw in some baclava). The owner, Tony, provides excellent recommendations — make sure you take them! He knows what's fresh that morning, and how his wife cooks it. The bill comes hand-written, and Tony forgot to include the wine (obviously I corrected him). I can't remember the last time a restaurant bill made a mistake in the customers' favour! No service charge is included, and it deserves a lot more than the usual 12.5%. This is a wonderful, old-fashioned restaurant, run by a charming old couple, committed to maintaining old-fashioned standards. The food is more than great and the prices more than reasonable. Service is personal, honest and responsive (providing Tony turns his hearing aid on). Tony warns you if anything you wanted was bought in, rather than home-made. Why don't unassuming but wonderful restaurants like this get Michelin stars?"
