great dining and serving in a beautiful clean and modern restaurant. owners are incredibly friendly, welcoming and chatty. this pub is always busy, so book ahead. they just want from a country pub in a village environment. a small community hub

We just had an amazing Sunday lunch. Friendly staff, delicious food reasonable price. New owners definitely improved the Crown. Will be returning. Only negative thing when they are busy you may have to wait a little to order. We were fine but others had to...wait a little, but I think staff were lovely.

the place was very busy, personal, where friendly and efficient. fast to our table and served drinks. we chose the mixed meat roast, there was something waiting, but it was worth waiting because the food was fabulous. it was well presented and well lubricated. the sweets, where also so good . would definitely return and recommend to family and friends . we eat here as they stay in their parking lot in the residential property. eating is amazingly worth waiting as obviously fresh cooked, I had the cake, colcaannon and veg and my man the scampi and chips. I have to say it was the best food we had in a long time, and good value for money. the owners were attentive and I really wish them success for the future, we will definitely be back.

Our friends had their wedding reception at the Crown. We had eaten there the night before and the meal had been really lovely. The reception was absolutely superb. The staff were friendly and very busy making the reception perfect. The food served was absolutely delicious,...fantastically presented. All round they did everything to make the day perfect. I couldn’t recommend anywhere better. Thank you.

We stopped here in our campervan as part of the Brit Stop scheme cannot recommend it highly enough. Luke Zoe were so welcoming friendly. The meals were generous in portion size and Luke even offered to cook a starter as a main,despite...the fact we stayed on a busy Friday evening. A very busy venue. We booked for and customers were still arriving well after we started our meal. Service a bit slow because the manageress was away on compassionate grounds. Couldn’t be too upset with the service when presented with the bill and the...price of the single late arriving meal was left omitted. Staff, in spite of being run off their feet, were extremely pleasant. The food was very good. Vegan and vegetarian range was limited.

We had a family meal out here and everyone thought the food and service was excellent. A nice big dining room with plenty of room for each table and a very friendly atmosphere. A couple of family members had the burgers and said they were...really tasty and very filling, I had the pork steak and thought it the nicest I have had in many years. All in all a great little spot with very friendly and accommodating owners and thoroughly recommended for a family get together.

Four of us had lunch here today, plus two retired guide dogs. Even though this was a last-minute booking and the restaurant was full for Sunday lunch, they still managed to fit us in at a small table in the bar area, and it was...perfect. The service was attentive and warm. The food was delicious and more than enough for all of us, and there was a happy, friendly feeling throughout the pub.
