We had lunch here after our Jungfraujoch tour. The service was excellent. Staff was courteous and welcoming. Good food options to pick specially food vegetarians. The location is amazing but we couldn’t enjoy as it was snowing and covered completely. But definitely recommend everyone to have this experience!

Andreas was the man in charge!! He ran the restaurant like a Swiss watch!! He treated each customer who followed societal rules like a king or queen, with great service and a sharp wit. And those who tried to cut the line (the restaurant was very busy) were met with a different kind of cutting wit. Service was good but the dish i ordered, veal schnitzel which comes with chips (CH40 or $88 AUD) was a big big disappointment. It was worse than fast food meal absolutely disgusting. Felt totally ripped off. I was so disappointed as i thought if i order lil more dearer meal i will get something more healthy. That was such a disappointment Of course i didn’t eat that meal as it isn’t the type food i eat. I felt like a fool believing that Crystal was a proper restaurant it’s not. (The waiter was nice and fun)

This is the second time that we have eaten here and it is fantastic! Could not make any reservations online, so as soon as we got to top, I went directly to the restaurant to see if I could book reservations later that day they are open only from 11:00 14:30). The sign on the door said ‘all book’ yet I went in an politely asked if they had a table for four at 13:30 which they were able to accommodate. The tofu with rice was exceptionally good, the hummus plate delicious, the recommended white white soothing and the chicken scrumptious! Coffee for dessert with the Lindt chocolate plate rounded out the meal. It is expensive, yet our views that day were stunning and the staff are fantastically...

Tartare with a view. Of course, the Jungfraujoch is home to Europe's highest railway station. Nestled at an altitude of over 3,500 meters, it's awe-inspiring. Of course, there are the alpine pastures, the cows, the cogwheel trains and the enchantment. But the real magic happens at Crystal. Their tartar is simply perfect. There's nothing conventional about it, and purists may cry foul. But open your mind and ask for it. You won't be disappointed. It's not made with exotic ingredients, quite the opposite, but its smoky flavor, thanks to a hint of whisky, is excellent. Of course, the restaurant also offers a selection of dishes suitable for other diets. Bonus: the fondue is also very, very good... Visualizza piatti
