"After receiving a distressed call for my daughter this evening I was concerned so I brought it on myself to discuss with the manager of this curry house. And after speaking to both (ABS) I believe the manager also my daughters partner there was a issue over food that was ordered 2 xs Madras which was far to hot and they were unable to eat it . when asked for a refund and for the order to be picked up which was declined, I understand a heated discussion took place so I decided to deal with this myself however after having a conversation with the manager 3 times I asked for him to collect and test the order and 4 times asking that a refund should be given Obviously a issue as both issues were declined. Although only £11 which I have now personally given my daughter !! But certainly was a issue for the manager to do this. My daughter has cancer and this was awful not that she should be given preference but to be treated in such a manner is disgusting. There was no reasoning with the manager at all apart from your daughter can order tomorrow or later on through the week and we will replace it , however the damage has been done and certainly my daughter will never order here again. Also after my call I will also never try this curry house. Such a shame that not only for the establishment but also for a customer. I wish them well good luck but would hope that improvements whereas being professional about situations like this never happens to some one else."

Would highly recommend, food was lovely had 3 different meals and starters , plenty of it , gave you free popadoms and Bombay potatoes , great value for money ,very friendly staff

Curry was thick and gloopy no sauce, chicken over cooked and hard. There was a staple in the curry. Nann had no sultanas in, onion bhaji were chewy and dry. Will not order from here again.

We decided to have a curry for Xmas Day instead of the traditional turkey...what an excellent choice. Curry Leaf curry plus additional sides were all excellent. Customer service second to none and delivered quickly.

Always good here. I always try to collect. Delivery like all will be a long wait during peak times. I like jalfraze with chicken that has not been marinated ie plain chicken. Then you get the true sauce flavor. Takadall is good with nan.

Always used them in the past and they have always been good.. Must have a new 'Chef '.. the curries were watery and tastless and the biriyani rice was hard, the chicken dried out, like it had been sat on the side for a few days.. Really bad!!

We tend to order a curry once a week as it’s our favourite takeaway to get, and we will always order from Curry Leaf. We always get the student meal as it includes everything we’re after. We always recommend to our friends and family when we have them over for an evening and everyone loves how cheap and cheerful it is.

Been using this place for years. Chicken dansak is always delicious and plentiful.The strength of heat can be a little variable but always enjoyed.Never had a problem with delivery service. Will probably stop ordering onion barji as they are the flat variety and therefore tend to be a bit cold/hard when they arrive. Have always found them happy to adapt orders/ ingredients to your taste.
