"had coffee and coffee nutcake on this little jewel of an oasis. very friendly and well maintained staff. they always ask all nutritional requirements or allergies to each order. I was impressed. so many visitors still took the time to ensure that everyone was safely supervised. water was on request free. sit in the interior or exterior area in the wooden box. I recommend quality and customer support. I will visit again if I am next in the butgavenny opposite. note cash payments only"

I just invited a breakfast look. large menu now includes homemade pancakes with fresh fruit and yogurt. absolutely delicious. also a good coffee.

What a fab little cafe, staff are the friendliest you could ever wish to meet. Very popular with locals and visitors as like, so many people wanted to come in but not enough tables. Cheese potato pie was delicious too. We only called in to break our journey home to Chesterfield after our holiday would highly recommend it

Lovely establishment. This place was recommended to me and it didn’t disappoint. The cakes were amazing and tasted delicious and homemade. Staff were attentive without being intrusive. The coffee was lovely. My only wish they had skimmed milk but they had semi skimmed which sufficed. Please visit and I am looking forward to returning to sample the food

The food was excellent! I had breakfast, specifically eggs that were cooked to perfection, and the bread was lovely. The menu offered a great selection, and there was an impressive display of fresh homemade cakes that looked absolutely delicious. I always make it a point to stop by when I'm in Abergavenny, and I highly recommend this charming café. Thank you, Graham!

This is the best café I’ve ever been to! The coffee was excellent, the cakes were delightful, and everything looked fantastic. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the owner is the kindest person you could ever meet! The café itself is beautiful and cozy, creating a wonderful atmosphere. You can really sense their passion for what they do. I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone!

the fabulous ladies in this shop had me spellbound in conversation and i had to rush to catch my bus to Monmouth. was so spellbound i had forgotten to pay for my delicious Welsh Rarebit. when i arrived in Monmouth i went straight to the post office and sent a thank you card to them with £10 enclosed. i hope it reached them ok as the post mistress was a little cagey.... this was about 18May this year. "do not pass by this beautiful gemstone without dipping. I guarantee they will visit again and again. the coffee is the best. the owners and employees are so friendly and welcoming. in the did, when they are in them, they are never lonely as everyone chats away to friends and strangers alike. I have tried one of the gluten-free and milk-free chocolate breweries with two huge creatures of delicious gelato. Oh, my God, my God."

"Having lived in Turkey for many years it is wonderful to have found somewhere that serves real Turkish food close to home. The staff are all welcoming, caring and wonderful with the children. We have visited for Birthdays and again staff have made the event special. Don't hesitate to treat yourself and pay a visit, you won't be disappointed. Kid-friendliness: Always make a fuss of the children, make sure that they have everything that they need. On a recent visit one child didn't order as they were not hungry then changed their mind, food was prepared quickly for them even though the restaurant was busy."

The atmosphere of the restaurant was inviting and pleasant, which added to our overall enjoyment, so I rated it four stars as well. As for parking, I’m unsure of the availability, but I did notice that there is a paid parking lot nearby. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for a special dinner!"

"We visited here for lunch as we are in the area. As a chef and restaurant manager, we usually find the good in most dining situations and are pleased to be enjoying food somewhere else, however my experience was less than favourable from the moment...we arrived, an older lady grunted at us as we arrived the bar and wondered off, another lovely lady came to take our order for drinks but we hadn’t even been given menus, I got the distinct impression that the older lady had instantly dismissed us for not being regulars. I must stress here that all the other staff were lovely. We were promptly seated after ordering and given plenty of time to enjoy. The food we felt was distinctly average. We asked for the bill and after waiting half an hour for the bill, we got fed up and went to the bar only for the lady to bark at us that she had been trying to “track us down” we hadn’t moved from the table all lunch. If I or any of my staff ever treated a customer like this, I would have a serious word."
