The food little bit on the high price, what you paid for is for the view. The food is arvange not bad but not brilliant. If the price put down a little bit will be earn the other Star.

Had a business dinner there yesterday evening therefore I can not say anything about the price, since we were invited. The food was excellent though, really nice. The view at sunset and into the Linz nightline is also lovely.

The view on the town is simply breathtaking, the food was delicious for austrian standards (sorry, very though italian to please here), with some creativity and attention to fresh local produce (high five for that service was excellent. Price is high but worth it for...a little splurge.

I was here with some colleagues for a business dinner. Place is fine, modern style in old town castle, very nice view on Linz town. Dinner was good even if choice qas not so wide but all dishes habe been prepared and served very well....I had beer but also tasted a glass of fine Austrian wine. I would consider this place for a second round, and also for a dinner with friends.

After a long day exploring Linz we had dinner at Herberstein Brasserie. Our request for a nice table worked out nicely and we were welcomed by two members of the friendly staff. The menu offered an interesting variety of dishes and a great selection of...local wines, reasonably priced. We enjoyed a good dinner while watching the sun go down over the city. A perfect way to finish your day.

The restaurant is beautiful and it has an amazing view. But for the price they charge they should at least have a decent service. We were seating at the balcony and the waiter never came with the order. I went inside twice to ask about,...they said it was coming. When I went to ask the a third time, they simply looked the door, I imagined so I could not bother them anymore. Please, do not waste your time.

Located right adjacent to the castle on top of the small hill and the modern museum building. Great city view while you eat. Modern style menu card, not a large selection but good choices of starters, salads, fish and meat dishes. Open wine per glass....Ee had the orange soup and the mixed grill vegetables as starters and the halibut and pork in parma ham as main dishes. Served quickly, the service is good snd effective. Prices are in the upper range with starters around 10 Euros and main dishes around 21 Euros August 2015 .

We stopped here for a iced coffee and Linzertorte early in the day, while disappointed with the iced coffee, we decided we would try for dinner, as the terrace is elevated, in the shade late afternoon on a hot evening, good views over the rooftops...of the city. We shared scallops for starters, delicious. My wife had the sea bass risotto, more than pleased with her choice, whereas I had the lamb rack with Mediterranean vegetables, and very pleased also. Coming from Australia, the scallops and lamb were certainly very good quality, and the meal presentation was excellent. Reasonably priced for a European restaurant, and a quiet relaxing away from the crowd destination for a lovely meal.

Had lunch accidentally at this restaurant because of our museum visit. When we arrived, there was a man standing at the cashier, no smile, no words, no greetings. Hmmm such a great restaurant but without alertness when guests are entering. Okay, then I asked for...a table. There were two tables that we would have like to sit at, but he said they have been reserved already. Finally he gave us “a not so nice unprepared table” close to the two nice reserved tables. Some minutes later other guests entered and sat down at the reserved tables. After they’re were sitting, I asked them, whether they had reserved the table. And they answered “NO”.
