"Although I see some reviews mentioning expense, service, and quality were not up to snuff, this was not my experience at all. Our waiter was pleasant and accommodating, our food delicious, and our bill right at 50€ for 3 people for 3 entrees and 3 beers. My food had a hearty, comfort food feel (it was the veal in cream sauce - I fear I don't remember the German). The restaurant itself felt like you were at that one nice restaurant in a small town. The one you go to after church and with your grandparents. It was easy to imagine locals hunkered down inside sitting out a snow storm with a pint. No complaints; would happily go again."

"Went there for lunch during a weekday and I left impressed. The service was friendly, the place is very clean, and the food was great! It has only been open for a couple of weeks, but you would think it has actually been there for a while as it comes off well established. The plate that I got had just the right amount of spice and the portions were great. I went there with 4 other work colleagues and everyone had nothing but great things to say. If you enjoy great Indian food this is a place worth checking out."

"very nice caffe in the heart of donauwörth with a cozy atmosphere. homemade cakes and hot waffles. in the hot cirches you can see that it was somehow thickened with flour or something else. I find a portion would not hurt if you had the one yet.Once again everything has tasted.The limonade homemade is in my opinion too sweet and tastes something artificial.Once again the conditions are very fast and very friendly"

"We had just arrived in Donauworth and dropped our luggage at hotel. We set out to find a restaurant to relax and rejuvenate after long day. We were surprised to find most restaurants were closed at such an early hour, but saw that Grill Roma...was open, so we took a chance. There were only a few diners in the restaurant. We found a corner table by the window overlooking the river and the walking trail. Our waiter came from behind the bar and welcomed us with a smile. We ordered Dunkles Biers and began perusing the menus. Being in Germany, we were somewhat surprised to find an Italian restaurant with many selections that we enjoy. When our bier arrived, we ordered Spaghetti Carbonara and Scaloppine al Marsala. The food was a bit slow in arriving because the restaurant became very busy. The owner returned to check on us and was disappointed that we had not received our food. So he rushed to the kitchen and returned. The food was outstanding. My wife commented that this was the best spaghetti carbonara she had eaten. My scallopine al Marsala was very tender and the wine and mushroom sauce was perfection. We relished our dinner and enjoyed just talking. Time passed and most customers departed. As things started to settle, the owner came back to talk with us. I casually asked what an Italian was doing so far north. He was absolutely delightful as he told us about marrying a lady from Donauworth and working for his father-in-law. He finally bought the restaurant and changed it to include Italian food. Also, he said he had taken over the building next door and was remodeling it to be a hotel and restaurant to serve the guests. He was so excited and told us to come back and stay for awhile. HIGHLY RECOMMEND......"
