"The origin of beer . This is the biergarten of the oldest brewery in Germany. The food is amazing (the porc knuckle will knock you out) and comes in large portions. The beer is very refreshing and tasty. The seated setting is nice, a green garden with nice views. You could also give the obazda a try. It is one of the best here. If you sit inside (at the restaurant) think about making a reservation first. You can then try the pfandel."

"Our last dinner during our week trip to Europe. We visited Oberammergau, Vienna, Sorrento and Rome and dined at many different restaurants. Most of them were overpriced and very touristy. This place was very different and we truly enjoyed the local food with authentic.."

"of our food in the economy we were very disappointed. since we were recently the first time in the beer garden and this one has fallen very well in totality. I've ordered a black roast. So I haven't eaten such bad roast for a long time. the sauce was fad and transparent in front of loud fat. just a few drops of darker sauce have lost itself in there. the meat had a very unappetiful gray color, as the fat rim also looked like if it were too long under the warming lamp. the blue herb was unfortunately also a pure fall. pale color and barely taste. pity, the pub has so much potential with the beer garden. but with this type of food, the guests will probably stay far away."

"Having read some positive reviews on Kathi’s, we decided to go. Upon arrival we were advised the restaurant was full and the only table available was within a small overflow area. Before taking in the surroundings, we accepted and sat down. We quickly realised the...area we were sat was the entrance to two shops and a bar?!! The shop windows were in need of a wash and the ambience was non existent. I absolutely adore steak and often cook in my own kitchen, I was really keen to try the special Bavarian steak. I’m a little confused as to why you would come to Bavaria and order meat from another country? There was many selections from other countries available. I should note that with a price tag of €39, my expectations were high. My husband ordered the burger. Our food arrived and cutting into my steak, it became obvious the meat was not cooked as ordered, I requested “medium”...the meat had not been rested either meaning the meat juices and blood were on my plate. I requested the waiter return to the kitchen for further cooking. Once my steak arrived back, it was cooked to my preference however still oozing meat juices on the plate. At home, my steak is rested for a minimum of 5 minutes to avoid this. The meat was nice and so too were the accompaniments, my husband reports his burger was tasteless and laden with various sauces, causing it to collapse with moisture. All in all, we would not return. A restaurant focusing on serving steak should have chefs who know how to successfully cook (and rest) this expensive cut of meat."
