"Yesterday we were to eat in the restaurant. we ordered drinks, got the menu cards served. a few minutes later the waiter came and asked if we had chosen something. I carved with bratkartoffels and vegetables, my wife steak with pommes. while the waiter described the orders, my wife said to him, she would like the steak medium. he did not hear that because he had already turned to other guests who just came in. we would be ignorant-special wishes? is not a wish concert...It came quick to eat. it was something like suppe from purse kartoffels and boils. I guess everything is ready for part. the steak of my wife was ok, but more but not, the crimped butter somehow tasted like curry. between the pommes were also individual pieces of kartoffel, which were already old and dark brown. my carving was also ok, the bratkartoffeln too. the sweet was out of the deep-cooled chest, the sauce hollondaise from the bag. as a dessert and at the same time crowning the day was a klacks chocolate pudding and something looked on it...For that the price but per dish was 10.30€. I therefore do not understand the general enthusiasm and also the great reviews. we definitely don't go there anymore."

The food selection in here is better than Zwiebels, whilst still giving wonderful German fare. All food was well cooked and delicious. The portions were much more manageable than Zwiebels too. Lots of charm in this little restaurant, very worth visiting.

in het mooie soest is he veel keuze qua eten, der moenchshof is daarvan in ieder geval een goede keuze.De schnitzels zijn lekker en de prijzen scherp. uiteraard zijn de porties naar duitse begrippen meer dan voldoende.Het restaurant is gevestigd in een ud vakwerkhuis en de bediening is zeer vriendelijk en attent.

This restaurant was only amazing! The waiter was so pleasant and you can tell this is their lively hood. Their career. The turkey with curried fruit was one of the best things I've eaten, and his chicken was amazing. Their after dinner liquor was delicious as well! Well deserving of one of the top spots in Soest! We went there on out last night in Soest...I had the Rump Steak..It was served with Grilled onions and pan fried potatoes. It was the absolute best steak I have ever eaten. It was done to perfection.....I highly recommend this place... Beer was cold and service was great....When in Soest do yourself a favor and eat here first..That way you will have time to go back.....
