"We had lovely stay here. We stayed for days in a deluxe room with half board and the main thing that made our stay special was the nice staff! The staff went out of their way for us. The reception was very friendly and helpful, for example when we needed help buying tickets. Also the cleaning staff was friendly and the rooms were spotlessly clean. The restaurant had a romantic yet informal atmosphere and also there the staff was super friendly, both for breakfast and dinner. The food was great, my favorites being the sformatino, ravioli and tiramisu. The menu was a bit limited to choose from for days but they solved this perfectly. We also felt they served us with a nice personal touch. For example when a nice wine was delivered they recommended this to us based on our picks on the nights before. The location of the hotel is perfect. We used it as a base to discover Florence, tuscany and relax a little by the pool. It's very easy to reach the centre of florence with the bus that stops in front of the hotel. Also all other highlights such as Lucca, Arezzo, Siena and chianti were within hour and minutes drive by car. The room was also good and had all the amenities you need. The bed was comfortable. The room was not super big but in line with the pictures on the website and we had a lovely view. Two downsides: the pool area is big enough if you want to chill in the morning but at the end of the day it might get a little crowded and you might not have a pool bed available. And the parking space was a bit limited. You can park on the hill next to the hotel but for a dutchie like me not used to hills that was a bit uncomfortable. If you are looking to get away from the buzz of the city and for a romantic stay I would highly recommend this hotel!"

Tutto molto bello ed anche la posizione è suggestiva. Unica pecca è l'accesso per disabili che è parecchio complicato.

Assolutamente perfetto: carpaccio di roastbeef, un ordine di Pomodori alla Parmigiana e un piatto di salumi e crostini. Delizioso. Seguito da uno squisito strudel di mele per ciascuno di noi. La colazione la mattina successiva, anch'essa buona, anche se un po' in ritardo, quindi le uova erano finite tutte!

Posizione favolosa sopra Firenze. Abbiamo cenato sul patio all'aperto. Tutto è stato eccezionale fino a quando è stato servito il secondo piatto. 3 persone del nostro gruppo avevano ordinato l'agnello, che era così duro che non poteva essere tagliato con un coltello da bistecca. La direzione ha prontamente sostituito i piatti, ma il ritmo è stato poi compromesso per tutti. Strano che la cucina abbia permesso che i piatti fossero serviti. Per il resto, eccellente.
