"The food is a restaurant as it always existed and exists everywhere at any time. The equipment fluctuates between rustic and other, the audience consists of almost all ages. The prices for the beautiful evening in a waiting position should actually allow the purchase of several waiter clips without thereby triggering a financial slate. When the bubble presses during waiting, the gear is highly recommended for the clean position. Conclusion: For an aging city like Biedenkopf this restaurant is quite acceptable. You should preorder, parking is available directly at the house and if you actually have everything together (i.e. a l e people at the table have their food and the ordered drinks are also available in sufficient quantity), it can be a nice evening. What would be good to do with the restaurant is a penalty at the time of preparation, the frequency of an intermittent service at the table and also a certain basis of basic knowledge when the guest requests a recommendation from the drinks. I wish the restaurant for the future all the best, even if I no longer return there because of the criticisms mentioned before the age of retirement."

Das Essen schmeckt sehr sehr gut. Ich weiß nicht, wie man das macht, aber zuhause konnten das irgendwie nicht nachmachen. Sehr sehr empfehlenswert!

Nice surprise. Food was pretty good, with a nice selection on the menu. The carpaccio and the geese legs were really delicious. With good salad and crispy frits on the sides. The desert was strange. Only ice cream. Place cozy and pleasant. One of the better choices in the area.

Die Esse ist ein rustikal und gemütlich eingerichtetes Restaurant in Biedenkopf neben dem Freibad.Die Speisekarte bietet eine große Anzahl von Speisen an, die auch noch sehr lecker schmecken und von nettem Personal serviert werden.Über die Hälfte der Speisen habe ich schon ausprobiert und ich wurde nie enttäuscht.

Wir waren Anfang Dezember mit der Familie dort essen. Wg. nahenden Weihnachten war das Restaurant komplett ausgebucht, wir fanden den letzten freien Tisch.Trotz des Andrangs war der Service sehr freundlich und schnell, ebenfalls die Küche. Man war also gut vorbereitet.Die Speisekarte ist nicht sehr gross, was wohl der Frische der Zutaten geschuldet ist. Trotzdem wird eigentlich jeder etwas finden. Alle Speisen sind sehr gut gewesen und mit einem gewissen "Pfiff".Es hat uns gut gefallen und wir haben als sehr zufriedene Gäste das Restaurant verlassen.

evaluation for the bowling alley: since biedenkopfr only very difficult to get out of her small nest, we were here again for Christmas celebration. unfortunately we were pushed into the bowling alley to eat. in the restaurant they sit very well, which they cannot say from the bowling alley. very plucked with much too loud 80s-dance-charts-dudel, the carving open was not worth 19€, even if it tastes. I asked 2x if you could make the music a little quieter because you don't understand your own word. “The other guests want it so.” I go home well. at the next Christmas party in the esse I'm out.

Anlässlich einer Familienfeier mit knapp 40 Personen hatte ich gestern die Gelegenheit, nach 30 Jahren einmal wieder in der Esse zu speisen. Das ist noch genau die gleiche Einrichtung wie damals, da hat sich nichts verändert - 30 Jahre Stillstand. Nein, ein aus Euro-Paletten gezimmertes Weinregal, das war - so glaube ich - damals nicht da.Früher war die Esse mal eine gute Adresse - das kann ich nach dem gestrigen Besuch allerdings nicht mehr bestätigen: 3 junge Damen im Service waren restlos überfordert. Eine sagte immer nur wieder ängstlich: "Es ist mein erster Tag hier...", die andere: "Ich bin hier noch ganz neu...." Eine dritte Bedienung hat in jüngerer Zeit einen der vorderen Plätze bei...
