Great dosas and fast, friendly service. We needed a quick meal before the theatre, told our waiter and both our drinks and food arrived very promptly. Highly recommended.

What a gem. Had a business lunch in here and was absolutely blown away with the standard of food. Really good value and could not recommend enough. Would definitely come back.

I had lunch with a business partner here this week and it was excellent. The quality of the food was first class and the service highly professional and helpful. We discovered this wonderful restaurant last year when we were looking for a relaxed place to eat prior to a concert. Great food (reasonably priced) brilliant service and a very casual/ relaxed atmosphere. I am already looking forward to our next visit to Nottingham to book a meal here. Highly recommended.

My first visit to Dosa and Chutney did not disappoint. Our waiter was very helpful, explaining menu items with enthusiasm. We went with his recommendations of a long ‘paper’ pancake with a potato filling and a tray of 4 dips. We shared lamb and chicken curries and 1 basmati rice more than enough! When we next visit and down we will try the buffet. Highly recommended.

A very positive experience from start to finish. the waitress was pleasant and professional. The food was incredible. We will certainly be returning as soon as possible. There was a slight issue with delay in the preparation of my dosa but the Manager explained the issue and apologised so we did not see this as a problem. Visited twice and both visits were awful for different reasons. The first time, the service was shambolic. We received the wrong order and they they came with a duplicate order that we hadn't asked for. The second time, like the first time, the food was unimpressive and not good value for money. We have given this place two chances to prove themselves but obviously the food and the customer service is very much lacking and there are plenty of other places I can spend my money

We went for breakfast as a couple on Saturday 26th August 2023. We were informed upon arrival that it is buffet for breakfast but Dosa could be ordered. We were shown to our table at 1120, and we ordered our tea and coffee. I also asked for a plain dosa. The waitress returned to say that they are not raking any orders before 1200. 10 mins after us at 1130 a South Indian customer ordered a plain dosa, and another ordered Vada, and both were served with their orders. The staff seemed disinterested in general and unprofessional. Me and family usually eat at this restaurant. At first we thought it’s just a one time case but as we frequently visited it seemed to be their day to day normal behavior. The food is not that great compared to the actual preparation of the dish except the dosas, they are good. All other Indian dishes just does not have the same taste and it’s suppose to be. When we order for all members together we expect receive all ordered items together to avoid anyone waiting and looking at others who received their food, but this doesn’t happen here.
