Due Amici - Menu

It was my first time here and I took my dad for his birthday! We loved the food and service the experience was so authentic! I write this review a week later as I had to come back with my brother and cousins!

GIORGIO,Go walk the sheep if you can't be bothered to serve clients !you were rude,disrepefctul and annoyed when we asked you to reheat the food that was cooked three days ago and also asked three times for the menu!!

Have been to Due Amici a number of times over the years and service and welcome has ways been very good. Very disappointed with our prawn starters! They were very small in size and not many of them at all. Would not have this starter again.

A flawless dining experience. The service was exceptional, from being able to choose our table to the attentive staff. We opted for the set lunch menu and were impressed with every course, especially the standout lobster bisque sauce. The portions were generous and the quality of the food was excellent. We look forward to returning soon.

A pretty good quality Italian restaurant, one of the better ones in Chisle. I'll run through the details: Starters: Zucchini fruit excellent Goujons of sole: ok ish not a huge portion poorly presented Mains: Calves liver excellent Vitelli al lim one excellent Escalope Milanese solid Contortions: I salad very good; potatoes, peas Dessert: cassata ice cream excellent Crème brûlée home made very good Bottle of Italian white (28.00) good cold Two coffees Came to 150 for three Look it all adds up doesn't it and it felt a tad expensive but service was good, we ate outside on a lovely day and really it was very pleasant.

below is a copy of a letter I sent to the owner who explains everything. herr felici mutti I visited her chislehurst restaurant on the evening of 28 september with three guests, I decided to pay the measured service fee after a waiter argues for at least five minutes why it should be paid before my guests and other diners probably try to embarrass me. Would not recommend this restaurant there are many lovely restaurants in Chislehurst, but this is definitely not one of them. The waiter at our table was arrogant and obnoxious and did not tell us that one of the items we ordered on the menu was unavailable. When our food arrived and one of the main meals was missing as a result, he insisted he had told us and became very rude. He was swiftly removed by his colleagues and we were subsequently told that he had been sent home. Saturday 15th 1730 booking As a family we have eaten here many times in the past 10 years. Class it as a traditional Italian restaurant where the menu is vast and service is very attentive. You will be greeted at the front of house and coat, jackets will be taken. Shown to table where olives, freshly cut bread and butter in attendance. Booked in advance a table for 2pm on a Friday for 2, no mention was made to me of the kitchen closing at 2.30. My friend and I were catching up and enjoying ourselves when the waiter came over at 2.15 and TOLD us to order. We said we needed more time and we were promptly told off that the kitchen closed at 2.30 which we previously were not aware of either when booking or arrival.
