"So many guests can't be wrong, can they? After a long time, we wanted to be pampered in the “Gasthaus Gerland”, in Nienbrügge, which lies between Stadthagen and the Steinhuder Meer. To do this, we are happy to continue – in memory of our last positive visit. Since our food was scheduled on a Saturday night, we had called in advance at noon to book a table. Unfortunately, all tables were already occupied. Only after we agreed that we wanted to be there (4 people already at 17:00, we got a reservation, but only until 19:00. So we were there on time, as we had participated in an event in the vicinity. At 17:00 the restaurant was already very well visited. Our appetizer: „Scampis vom Grill „Sylter Art“ with garlic sauce and fresh ba guette“ (to 6.90. , it's just not too hard. Because of this alone, it's worth a bit more drive. Also of the main dishes were (almost all, enthusiastic. Very tasty was the Skrei (Winterkabeljau with Black Roots and Senftsosse (to 17.90) offered only in the period from January to April at the latest. . We had ordered other dishes from the “Schnitzel Variationen Karte” offered in January, such as turkey carving with pineapples and cheese baked with French fries to 9,50. With this variation card, not only did the price performance ratio agree, but also the preparation, the amount and taste, convinced us (until my littleness again. I was the only one to take something that wasn't bad, but I didn't like it either. My dish: pork carvings with cranberries, champignons and sausage strips with roast potatoes of 10.50, also from the Schnitzel January card. Unfortunately, this court was already in need of reconciliation and I would not order it again. Nor did I like the roast potatoes, these were not raw, but precooked potatoes and cut too thick. I got this supplement just a short, much better served. Expressed in school notes, our food was of taste, quality and preparation, at the appetizer, 3 times very good and at the main dishes we were able to forgive 2 times very good, 1 times good and 1 times sufficient. This gives a good two over the average. We can therefore recommend the traditional German specialties in the “Gast haus Gerland” in Nienbrügge. We were also very impressed by the stylish ambience, the service and the different rooms, for a possibly individual celebration. We'll come back in any case if we're around again."

"from 2009 to 2016 I was very common in stadthagen and I definitely went to this restaurant at least 100 times. the fishing business and restaurant today employs about twenty employees and “turns around”: the reception is very friendly and professional, the restaurant is pleasant and the quality of the food is excellent. the fresh is undisputed, which is due to the daily arrivals from German ports and the very professional side of herrn bare. it does not smell like fish, though cooked in the room. many dishes are prepared a la plancha, which closes the pores of the fish, so that he cooks in his own juice. Everything's good. I liked the fish soups, the Greenland cloves with cocktail sauce as an appetizer, the grilled scholle with small pieces and bratkartoffels (cutterscholle with bratkartofeln), the grilled sea salmon (goldbarsch), the barentssee in winter (square), muscheln from the island föhr in winter, all fish I can only recommend this address warmly and look forward to coming back. this is the best fish restaurant I know in Europe."

I searched here in the portal for "stadthagen - ratskeller" and found nothing, even under "stadthagen - restaurant" missing said ratskeller. by applause appeared then "gaststätte ratskeller" and this title is very significant, significantly better than restaurant. Here now the impressions of our 4-person group, on a Friday night at 19:00 o'clock:- all four tables- bright furnishings, not necessarily cozy (inappropriate to the building)- the bench for two people on the table is inadequately padded, and in the middle you even sit directly on the wood-saving. extremely light and unreinforced, so this bench slips very easily back and forth and the card is outdated, another (not individual) card for a few Italian is inlaid (because this one would not have ordered from us)- a chilled salad-SB-buffet had the usual vegetables"
