"We found this special restaurant next to our hotel and we have visited several times now. The restaurant also allowed our little dog. The manager/somellier Jean Claude is an absolute professional gentleman and can see why he worked so successfully in a Michelin home in London. We chose the engraving and trout fillet, the selection of meat with salad and the speciality of the region truffaud.with potatoes and cheese. The dessert of Tarte didin with apple was delicious. The cheese is chosen from different in a cheese storage box. All local in the area . The restaurant is very popular so would recommend booking. We'll be here again and again when in Clermont Ferrand. There is also a special board on the bar wall to choose."

"This was what brought us back, three weeks apart, to be guided by so much kindness and professionalism on the part of the hotel master and his charming and elegant acolyte. from the reception to the outing, again, we were delighted with this sense of welcome and friendliness, of this desire to satisfy us and to care for our tastes, advice and surprises that they have been able to delicately bring us. the hotel master takes time while having the delicacy of not being so invasive, taking care of each table, listening and advising, guiding and. surprise, if we wish. "Very big disappointment. An unpleasant server who looks down on you without even saying hello, without even giving cards during installation. While people who arrived later are provided with cards. The waiter who spills wine when serving it and doesn't even apologize. Simply inedible truffles. We report it at the end of the meal, they inquire in the kitchen and yes the cook tells the waiter that he mixed it incorrectly in his dish and as a result they served the burnt part of the base of the dish without it bothering them. How can you serve such dishes for such a highly rated restaurant? Odd.. We would have liked something other than a digestive as a commercial gesture. 3 out of 6 plates were returned full and nothing else was offered to compensate. Not even a small dessert for the 3 people extremely disappointed with this restaurant in which none of us will set foot again."
